Rosie is at least as attractive as Megan Fox, and more shapely, imo. And she's cheaper which means that's one more fight scene we'll get to see.

Rosie certainly has a striking appearance and can work in front of a camera, but shapely she is not. VS has very good pushup bras for that.

It boggles my mind how people find her unattractive. Seriously? ...if she didn't "steal" the role from Megan would she still be so hated?

I just find the whole situation deplorable, but more toward Bay and VS than Rosie. Girl just wants to get a job, she's not conspiring this whole upstaging Megan Fox thing.

Some models can act. Charlize Theron, Natalie Portman, Halle Berry were all models. But they didn't advertise their modeling experience publicly when they acted. They let the acting work show.

Here, Rosie's main pull is that she is a VS model. Heck, VS even has a frickin advertisement about it now. That's the #1 sign that she/Bay/VS isn't taking this seriously.

And yeah, I know that Bay picks hot girls for his movies, but actually getting a VS model hot off the runway/catalog is really getting into farce-land.

The logic is that firing someone who has been in two movies to replace her with a model with no acting experience is asinine, hence my comparison to Paris Hilton. It is going to make the third movie worse because now we get plot holes and script conveniences. It will probably be a throwaway line by Shia as to why Megan isn't in this movie.

If it was someone who graduated from acting school and this was her big break, then I would give her a chance. The fact that they hired a model with no acting background shows you that they hired her for her face, boobs, and butt over acting chops.

It would be like replacing Katie Holmes in TDK not with Maggie G, but with Adriana Lima. Or even worse, Adriana is a completely new character and Rachel just went somewhere else or died in between movies and it is referenced by a character with one line.

I don't see Fox being able to pull of an assistant DA in a nolan movie, I really don't.
fact is fox is playing a hot air head that acts like she's overwhelmed and annoyed with her boy friend. Are you telling me that, that requires chops that a vs model lacks?

when movies cast ludacris(the actor) they get him for a certain kind of part well within his range...hell look at monique.
playing opposite the over talking shia in an tentpole film is something I think a VS model can do.

as for why fox was "replaced"
i'm sure it has more to do with her behaviour as well as her wanting to leave and less to do with bay wanting someone "hotter"

She was actually born with 6 fingers too but I think had those amputated as a baby. It's a genetic thing.

But maybe I just haven't been paying attention. I found out Denzel Washington has a seriously messed up pinky and it was like, "HOLY CRAP HOW COME I NEVER NOTICED?????"

Honestly, the quality of Huntley's acting isn't going to make or break the movie for me. It was the same thing with Fox for me. I'm in it for the TF's and nothing else.

And its is really funny. It seems like people do think Megan is an actual actress and I've been saying Megan Fox IS on equal footing with your typical VS model. Is she hot? Definitely...but thats about it.

I'm sorry. But Megan Fox isn't a veteran actor compared to ANYBODY. And secondly, where did you see the new girl act to come to that conclusion? And third, does the role of the hot love interest really require any acting ability at all? I don't think so.

I couldnt care less about Megan being dropped, I really couldnt care other than from a story perspective, but if they had gotten someone that improved the love interest role, I would have been a happy camper, as long as they could act.

My main complaint is basically that they dropped Megan and the first announcement was 'We have someone hotter,' which meant from the start of this they werent looking for someone who could act but just a pretty face, and the person they eventually went with is barely even that IMO.

There are any number of good actresses out who are better looking or just as good looking as Fox who can actually act, why not go for one of them?

This girl has been in nothing. Megan Fox has been in movies and tv shows. So yes, she is a veteran compared to somebody that has done absolutely nothing. It just reiterates the fact that this girl was hired for looks, nothing more and nothing less.

I think you're a veteran ACTor when you actually ACT. There is a difference between being a movie star and being an actor. I know nowadays they're used interchangeably but there is a difference.

People whined that Megan Fox was not a good actress and they applauded when she was booted out. Go back and look in this thread! They then turn around and hire a model with no acting experience and to see all the open jawed responses in here was hilarious.

I just don't know why people care. The role of the "love interest" is rather pointless anyways...whoever takes that role is just there for eye candy, nothing more.

These movies have a ton of chances to be better but they just piss those chances into the wind.

With Michael Bay? Not really. Maybe when they hire a worthy director. The only reason I'm waiting for Transformers 3 is to see the action scenes...and thats it. I couldn't care less for story, plot,acting etc...its all a futile effort if you ask me. That and hopefully Steve Jablonsky coming back because I loved his Transformers 1 score.
