Dark of the Moon Megan Fox WON'T be in TF3

indeed... but I was convinced she would be the biggest failure of all time (I even lost complete interest in the movie after Fox left)! Surprisingly enough, she got my attention, and not only because of her looks !

That's what the idiotic humor already did for me in TF2. Having a different actor is less bad.

The sad this is that Huntington-Whitley was pretty good, but yeah, she is the epitome of a plot contrivance. There's no depth to her character and she quickly becomes a tired "damsel in distress" cliche that it's ridiculous. Say what you will about Megan Fox, but Mikaela was a good character when you consider than they never played her the way they play Carly in this new film. Mikaela was always part of the action, and could handle herself in need be. She took charge when sh** was going crazy, even without the benefit of Sam being around. They never treated her like someone Sam actively had to rescue, like they did in Dark of the Moon.

I'm 90% positive that Megan would have the exact same role Rosie had in this film. Since Dempsey was originally cast as Megan's boss.

I would of prefered Fox take the role in the third film. Carly didnt bother me all that much, besides her lips.

some would argue that it gives the lead a more emotional ark of motivation if the goal in part is the other lead.

ie batman racing to save rachel or spiderman and his chic.
Sam never seemed more motivated. all that running around for cybertronian artifacts pales in comparison to him manning up and saving his lady from the other bad man.

Yeah, relieved she now has time to play her iconic prostitute character in the Jonah Hex sequel.

Sorry but Rosie just didn't do it for me. Not to mention she had some ridiculous scenes in the movie that made no sense (that whole 1 minute scene of just her with explosions in the background??). She was such a whiny girl, it was a bit overkill, she wasnt believable and she didnt deliver her lines well at all. She was one of the few major flaws of this film. The role was meant for Megan Fox to complete as Mikaela all along imo, especially the scene in which Carly confronts Megatron, to me that would've been perfect for Megan Fox as her character had been through it before and she had the guts to face him. I also hated all the jabs they took at the Mikaela character. All and all i would've preferred Megan coming back and completely the character (the Carly character would've made much more sense if it was Mikaela)

I thought Rosie did fine. Granted, it wasn't a hard role to play, but hey, for someone who never acted before, she seemed natural enough.

It was so typical of Bay to show us her ass first, lol. I'm not complaining at all... it was just funny that he was just blatantly like, "HEY GUYS, I'M AWESOME. I CAN DUMP THE HOTTEST BABE ON THE PLANET FROM MY FRANCHISE AND REPLACE HER WITH THE OTHER HOTTEST BABE ON THE PLANET AND YOU'RE GONNA LOVE ME FOR IT. HERE'S WHY. YOU SEE THAT ASS? YEAH, YOU SEE THAT ASS. YOU WANT THAT ASS, DON'T YA? WELL THAT'S THE CLOSEST YOU'RE EVER GONNA GET TO IT SO BE SURE TO SEE THIS MOVIE SEVENTEEN TIMES IN THE THEATER AND THEN BUY IT ON BLU-RAY."

The whole character Carly is ridiculous, its the same character as Mikaela, the only thing that changed was the name. If would've made much more sense and been more believable if Megan Fox had returned, but that didnt happen so the Carly character was a let down as it really wasn't the Carly from the original series.

I don't know why they didn't just name Mikaela "Carly" to begin with, hell it probably would have made more since.

Now as far as Rosie goes (I just got back from seeing the movie), I had no problem with her; and I know I'm alone in this, but I liked Carly a little bit more than Mikaela.
