there is nothing threatening about a robot with a whiny voice that always sounds like he's about to throw a tantrum.

i hope all pretenses of who megatron is supposed to be are dropped. he's a coward, if he's not retreating from the autobots, he's in a panic that some higher level decepticon is going to come down and kick his ass.

speaking of which, what were megatron toy sales like? i don't think i've ever actually seen a megatron gun toy.

I believe there was some kinda re-call on it back in the 80's because it had metal bits on it, and well it was a realistic looking gun for kids (something I dont understand because cap guns posed more a threat to humanity then a Megatron toy lol). It was re-released in limited numbers after all that went down. If you go to ebay you will find that Megatron toys are hardly ever seen and if they do get on they pay very very well.
