Revenge of the Fallen Michael Bay out of the way!

Should Michael Bay leave the franchise?

He can leave at any time he wants to. Him whining for more promotional material for a movie in which he makes more money if it does better isn't a signal that he wants to leave.

His big public stink of this just comes off as very strange.

He gave a big public stink about bluray a year ago. I just think he is trying to get free publicity.

After seeing TF 2 today, Bay does more good to this franchise than bad IMO, so, as I have suggested earlier, I hope he stays on the complete a TF trilogy, THEN someone else can take over the reigns.

Orce and Kurtzmann have said they arent returning though, I wonder who will take over them?

Bay directing a movie without explosions is like Tarantino directing a film without having long scenes of drawn out, yawn inducing, dialogue. :o

I have a few questions for you about the film. Did Ironhide do any fighting in the movie?

Are the twins completely useless or do they do some fighting?

Are the intro and ending similar to the first film?

Does the ending imply what will happen in the next storyline?

What did you think of Wheelie?

I have mixed feelings about this. I think the two did a good job with star trek and I'm very excited to see what they will do with the sequel so maybe it's better that they focus on one franchise. However, if Bay stays I'm concerned that he will have too much control over the writers that replace Kurtzman and Orci. Orci said he and Kurtzman really clashed with Michael during the development of the film. In one interview last december Orci even said there would be many things in the movie that would tick people off.

Star Trek's script was the films biggest problem.

That's true and yet the script was still good. Karl Urban and some of the other actors praised the writers for the great dialogue they wrote for the characters.

You mean all the lines they ripped straight from the original series?

Once again, if you cannot enjoy movies, then stop watching the ****ing things, and watch some lame ass Indi film about gay people and trannies.

Souless demon.

Hmmm... I'm obviously not conversing with a particularly sharp member of the SHH population... Maybe I shoukd try speaking in his own language:

Me no lik movees that insult adience's inteligenc with lazee writting. Me preffer film's that reward teh thinkng vewyer.

Movies are for entertainment.

Using your brain has nothing to do with MOVIES.

Brains are for reading.

Brains are for studies.

I really should have expected the cave-dwellers to occupy this neck of the woods...

Cave-dwellers?

Yah, that's me all right.

I use my brain for Dante and John Milton.

Michael Bay's Transformers is a brainless flick, but hella fun to watch.

Are you one of those stuck-up dudes that think they're highly intelligent, but not at all?

Me thinks you are.

Huh?

But still...we have to help him. Demons are scary. We need to make them happy.

Really? Correct me if I'm wrong but, I don't remember any of the following scenes having dialogue ripped off from the original series:

Kirk talking to Uhura at the bar

Kirk's dialogue with the 4 star fleet cadets before fighting them

Kirk talking to Christopher Pike about joining starfleet

Kirk witnessing Bones flip out before meeting him for the first time

Kirk's dialogue with everyone in the kobayashi maru simulation

Young Spock's dialogue with the younger vulcans.

Mature Spock's dialogue with the vulcan council

Kirk's dialogue with Bones while he is showing symptoms of numb tongue and swollen hands.

Kirks dialogue with Uhura while he is showing the same symptoms.

Sulu's dialogue with Christopher Pike and Spock on why the ship staled before going to warp.

Checkov's spastic dialogue with himself and others when he runs to the transporter room to save Kirk and Sulu.

The whole crews dialogue with each other when discussing the effects of the alternate universe timeline.

Kirk and mature Spock's dialogue with Scotty on the icey planet.

All of Nero's dialogues with Christopher, Kirk, and Spock

All of Spock's dialogue with Uhura and especially during the transporter scene with Kirk
