Really love this shot

FpBTrvDaYAI_lna

he looks so much more agile here.
i hope they still acknowledge that he's an old man now and can't move like he did before.

maybe this new suit comes with new tech that allows him to do all these crazy moves... like a low-tech ironman suit. or dare i say...like a batman beyond suit.

That is a certain drawback to reviving these older characters. Maybe they are making liberal use of stuntman.

i feel the same.
that's why i think it would be good if there's an in-movie explanation that he's being assisted by the improved tech of his current suit, where it augments his physical capabilities.

like a batman beyond / kingdom come suit.

ain't no way a man pushing 70 yrs old is moving like that purely on his own. :funny:

Ha! True that! :p

I have to say, I'm disappointed with how Gotham City looks in this. It looks like a regular city.
I’m really hoping that’s just a placeholder. Seems weird that they’d get everything else right about Keaton’s Batman only to place him in some generic looking city.

I’m also not crazy about the sun brightly shining in Gotham, but it’s details like that that are gonna be missing when someone other than Tim Burton is directing.

I think that is a byproduct of what they've done here which is place Michael Keaton's Batman into the DCEU. That was one of the things I was afraid of.

I think the sun is shining because its daytime.

But honestly, do we know any of what we've seen is Gotham outside of the gloomy shot of Wayne Manor? I personally couldn't care less about Gotham being all dungy and nigh uninhabitable in THIS film since its not about Batman or Gotham. I also doubt they'll depict it as some sunny, fairy land if it does play an actual role.

I think people aren't used to seeing Keaton's Batman outside of the Tim Burton esthetic because we've never really gotten the Burton/Schumacher Batman outside of a super stylized Gotham City.

personally, i think it's going to be cool to see this batman outside of his element with these daytime scenes.
representative of how this batman's been retired and now putting the cape and cowl back on.
he's pretty much a relic of the past, but here he is fighting the good fight again.
and that's badass.

Doesn't The Flash merge the DCEU and Tim Burton's Batman world together? Maybe that's why Gotham doesn't look like Burton's Gotham and everything doesn't match up with those 2 films perfectly.
