Microsoft Pleased With December NPD Sales.

Hahaha, even with worldwide sales taken into consideration, the PS3 is NOT outselling the Xbox360. It's behind by millions of units.

Of course the damn thing is going to be millions of units behind. The Xbox 360 had a year head start and sold over 10 million units then. It's common f**king sense!

But the Playstation 3 has sold more units than the Xbox 360 within the past couple of weeks.

And nexgenwars is horribly behind on the numbers of ALL the consoles. While VG Chartz isn't reliable for accuracy, they give a better generalization on how the thing is going.

And yet the Wii is doing better than the 360. LoGiC=fAiL !!!!! :hoboj::wow::o:yay::word::woot::gray:

NexGenWars has been reportedly very good from what I've heard, while VGChartz gets ripped on by everyone but you.

Oh, its gotta be the systems raw power that you are so drawn to.

Nooooo....I'm drawn to the games and the gameplay it offers. You know, the part of gaming that should matter the most.

If I want an HD console that offers kick ass graphics I'll get an Xbox 360 or Playstation 3.

Ah, i always thought Wii ppl loved the Wii because it reminded them soo much of their Gamecube and or PS2, but good for you for liking that little system.

I loved my Gamecube dearly. I loved it more than my Playstation 2. But I didn't get the Wii because of those reasons. I got it because I am very, very partial to Nintendo, the games library, and the gameplay the Wii Remote offers.

Yea, i enjoyed my GameCube as well. Mainly because of that masterpeice known as Resident Evil and Resident Evil 4. Those were the only two games i owned for that system, but it was damn worth it.

Get a Wii dammit! It has the best version of Resident Evil 4 and is very likely to get remakes of the rest of the Resident Evil series.

And Super Mario Galaxy.

The thing is it may have the best version of Resident Evil 4 and it's remakes, but for everyone who isn't a big fan of that AND Nintendo's franchises don't give a **** about the Wii. There is nothing else for them on the Wii.

That's not really Nintendo's fault though. The majority of third party games on the Wii tend to horribly suck because developers don't know how to properly make games on the Wii and people don't buy them as a result. It's as if the only successful third parties for the Wii are going to be Capcom (Resident Evil, Monster Hunter), Square-Enix (Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles), Sega (Sonic, NiGHTS), and UbiSoft (Rayman Raving Rabbids, No More Heroes).

And the Wii has more than just Nintendo's franchises. Newcommers are comming to the Wii thanks to Wii Sports and Wii Fit.

Man i grew out of Mario in '96. Iv moved on from last gen, and as much fun as it was that means Resident Evil 4...its on to Resident Evil 5 b*tches(which the Wii wont see)

You don't "grow out" of Mario. It's called you get this notion in your head that Mario is kiddy.

Try out Super Mario Galaxy. It's one of 2007 best games and is a serious contender to overall GOTY with "next-gen and mature" Bioshock.

Actually an interview Masachika Kawata (a producer of Resident Evil 4 from July 2007) stated that Capcom hasn't yet decided to make a Wii version of Resident Evil 5. And considering how well Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles sold on the Wii along with the very likely possibility of Resident Evil Wiimakes, there is a possibility that it could happen.

My point was that if people just flat out don't like Mario or Zelda or any of Nintendo's franchises, don't expect them to buy the console based on one game. I'm sure Mario Galaxy is a great game, but the bottom line is if a person isn't interested in Mario it doesn't matter to them in the least. It could be the greatest Mario game of all time and it still would make no difference.

I dont want a last gen "Wii make" of Resident Evil 5 tho.

But that's not really Nintendo's fault is what I am saying. It's not Nintendo's fault that most third party developers don't know jack s**t about Wii development and make s**tty ass games. It's not Nintendo's fault that most third party games don't sell. It's not Nintendo's fault that most third party developers want to make games like Cooking Mama, My Sims, Ninjabread Man, etc. instead of Sonic and the Secret Rings, No More Heroes, and Monster Hunter 3.

If you played the Wii version of Resident Evil 4, you'd see that the control scheme is far, far superior to the Playstation 2 and Gamecube versions.

While a Wii Edition of Resident Evil 5 would pale in comparison to the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, I guarantee it will be better due to the controls.
