Gotcha. Doesn't a higher fps mean slower though? I mean when you shoot at 5000 fps, it's like, super slo mo, so is that essentially what PJ is doing? Slowing doing the shot to ultimately lessen the blur and make the shot more clear overall?
It might, I'm not sure because I've never heard of that before. Even if it did, I'm sure that Jackson's found a way around it to make it flow normally while still looking amazing. He's been working with James Cameron to achieve 48 fps as well. Cameron even plans to film Avatar 2-3 at 60 fps, so we'll see how that goes.
 
Lucky bastard, I have lived in Langley for like 3 years ( before moved to PG) and never had a chance to watch IMAX. :(

I lived in Langley for 10 years, then I moved to Vancouver and I've been here for 7 years. I still go to Langley every weekend or so, so I'm both a city person and a suburb person.
