Miller working on Mad Max 4 and Justice league concurently?

I really wan't a mad Max 4 ok? the road Warrior is one of my favorite movies ...i love the first one , and i like thunderdome.

I imagine that Max will be shot fast.. but even if that's the case can Miller really work on Mad max 4 and Justice league at the same time ?

boy Miller is gonna be mighty busy Down Under. thats essentially 3 films he'll be working on.

lets just hope he doesnt spread himself too thinly and start slipping on any of the projects.

It isn't too unrealistic to film two movies at once. It all depends on how he schedules them. Some movies can be filmed in a very short time. Look at Indy 4 and see what I mean it didn't even take a full yet to finish it. And if a majority of JLA is going to be in CGI then he will not be needed to much on the JLA set. You could get the live stuff done in a few months then let the CGI team finish it off.

Mad Maxx on the other hand may take longer to film. Now I think it would be cool if Mel Gibson does Mad Max 4 and does JLA as Maxwell Lord. Thus far i think he is perfect casting for that role.

Unless I am reading the article wrong it says that MM4 will be out before JL because of how fast JL was moving.

I thought JL was supposedly moving really fast. And now a movie just getting under way is going to come out first? Really doesn't make sense.

I found it interesting that the article in either Variety or HR(confirming JL) made sure to point out that JL could fall apart at anytime and was casting dependent. Who knows with this stuff, it's definitely possible.

I find this "concurrent" idea hard to believe too. I can believe that Mad Max 4 is going into pre-production at the same time as JL, but not that it's being filmed at the same time or that it will be released before JL. (Unless they mean JL will take longer in post-production)

I doubt if Miller is going to be directing Mad Max. He might co-direct it like Sin City.

I can't help but think this might be Miller's way of getting out of JLA. Can't imagine how any director can helm two mega-budget productions con-currently.

Plus, now we're getting news that WB is actively hearing out writers for the Superman sequel. Could something be up?

Now,the shedule would be really tight to write a script for february (and who would be approven by the studio ) but who knows at this point?

It would be impossible for Miller to shoot Mad Max and JLA at the same time in my opinion. Even with 2nd units involved heavily.

I could see him doing preliminary work on Mad Max and Happy Feet while doing JLA. He can have different teams working on those films for him, that is not out of the realm at all.
