Well, here it is. Who else reads back issues of Miracleman? Who else thinks its a great comic that most have forgotten about? Who else wishes Todd McFarlane would stop being such a ***** and just let Neil Gaiman start a new Series.

I own all of the issues to Moore's run, I bought them at a con like 2 years ago. Truely great stuff there.

And I agree, Gaiman needs to give up that issue, I'm hoping he wins his suit against McFarlane.

I had purchased #1 to around #21 when they came out, and my shop never got around to ordering #22, 23 & 24, which I had the good fortune of picking them up for about 6 bucks each about 4 years ago...

:yay:

Sweet.
I don't own any of the Gaiman run, I wish I could find them someplace.

They're pretty expensive... between 30 & 50 bucks each for issues 17 to 24...

:csad:

they crop up sometimes on ebay, that's how i found al of moore's run, i'm watching for the gaiman issues..brilliant and i hope the legal crap gets sorted soon so it can finally get finished!

I found issues 1-6 of Moore's run on Miracleman. They were pretty cheap too, much to the surprise of the cashier at the comic shop.

I liked Moore's run

Pretty deep for a Captain Marvel clone.. Miracleman deserves a come back.

I'd really like to read this stuff, I just can't justify shelling out that much per an issue...

Ew.

I digs me some Miracleman. Managed to snag the first 08 issues of Moore's run off Ebay a few months ago.

God I wish they would get the rights sorted out so that Gaiman can finish his run. Plus it would be nice to get TPBs that are affordable so I could actually lend this series to people.

Was Gaiman's run really that good? I read all of Moore's run, and though I'm not into the rater R type of comics, I'll admit that it was really good (except that stupid pirate issue). But I've tried a few issues of Gaiman's run and it lost my interest every time. I could never read all of it.

It's been over 15 years since I read Gaimen's last issue... and the book was getting to be an acid-trip type of read... which appeals to some people and not to others...

I can't remember Gaimen's storyline, so if he ever gets to complete issue #25, I'll have to re-read #17 onward...

:csad:

I'm not a fan of Gaiman but his run on Miracleman (The Two issues I've read) was good

Not a fan of Gaiman? Why the hell not?

He doesn't oil your nipple? How is that possible? Did you read Sandman?

Yeah I did..
My ex- was a big fan of his too..
I actually prefered Sandman Mystery Theatre to Neil Gaiman's Sandman.

Wow... apparantly, Marvel Comics bought the rights to MarvelMan/MiracleMan.... :wow: :wow: :wow:

I hope they continue with the old numbering and we can see #25 on the shelves soon enough.

:yay:

I hope they just put out some trades and leave the character the hell alone. God forbid Bendis gets hold of him and does another Sentry. :o

Apparently, Marvel has the rights to the character and to reprint the 50's/60's stoires. So it might be a while until we see anything from the Moore/Gaiman issues.
