DC Television Sandman: The Series

Adrian Lester! How cool! He’s my top pick for Brainiac too

Freddie fox will be an inspired Loki. Worth watching just for that

As long as Gaiman isn't there it should go well...

So glad this is coming back and it’s so great to see trans/non-binary representation on this show, first with Mason and now Indya. I would love to see a Desire spinoff show or special.

Great to see Jack Gleason return to acting. It’s such a shame that he absolutely CRUSHED it in an iconic role and got so harassed over it that he stepped away from acting for a while. Fans can be so s****y.

And Freddie Fox as Loki? Hell yes. He’s been popping up in a lot of stuff lately and is always very good.

I get why they are doing it but it's a shame cause the first season was so good too.

Uhhh sure that's the reason lol
It's why they told us this before they season began filming!

Not gonna lie, this one hurts. Completely understandable but I do find myself grieving for a lot of the fandom here when I usually wouldn't. Sandman and Good Omens were a positive force for a lot of vulnerable people. Though I guess many wouldn't find that anymore.

It's really, really tough with adaptations like these because they aren't the singular work of the disgraced creator - I don't even really know if this is the right call for Sandman and Good Omens but its totally understandable and maybe the only realistic one. Just goes to show the incredible amount of damage one person can do with their actions.
