Missed Chances: Great Casting Choices that Never Happened

No offense to Alec Guinness, but Toshirô Mifune as Obi-Won would have been amazing.

And of course Christopher Lee or Peter Cushing as Sam Loomis.

They would've been good, but I'm glad Pleasance ended up with the role. He owned as Loomis.

Michael Keaton as the Joker

Not saying it was missed, but he like Bale could have also played the Joker.

Topher Grace As Peter Parker

Micheal Biehn as Guile

Mark Hamill 89 Joker

Bradley Cooper as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern

Brad Pitt s Nick Fury

Until a MGS movie is made with someone else it's still a possibility

EDIT:

Plus at the rate Hollywood does reboots even if they made a MGS movie without Viggo there's always the chance for a reboot

an MGS movie is still a possibility, but the prime time to get one off that ground has passed. i've been following MGS movie news ever since MGS1 and the only one in the business who really cares to get an MGS movie made is David Hayter and unfortunately, he doesn't have enough power/influence to make stuff happen. even if they get an MGS movie made, they'd undoubtedly want an actor who can do commit to a few MGS movies. that means they'd probably be looking for someone in the 23 to 30 year old range, maybe 35 at the oldest....Viggo will be turning 52 this year. he's too old to play Solid Snake, but he's at about the right age to play Big Boss.

River Phoenix as Young Indiana Jones in the unproduced trilogy that became the TV show.

Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern

Peter O'Toole as Albus Dumbledore

Anthony Hopkins as Mad-Eye Moody

John Hamm as Batman

Michael C. Hall as Matt Murdoch

Michael Fassbender as Bullseye

Ray Wise as Norman Osborne

Though to be fair, all of these mistakes could be easily fixed with reboots.

Jon Hamm would have made one great Harvey Dent.

Hamm could be a lot of comic book characters. He has the face and MASSIVE talent but, for me, he'll always be the greatest Bruce Wayne that never was.

Ray Winstone as Kingpin

Nicholas Brendon as Peter Parker. He was quite a bit older than MacGuire, though, but at least he could wisecrack dammit.

I forgot his name but I always thought the actor who played Sawyer on Lost could play a perfect Wolverine. Also:
Neal McDonough- Captain America
Nic Cage- The Joker

Mel Gibson as Wolverine and the Joker (oh, yeah he could have done it)

Mel Gibson as ... the Joker (oh, yeah he could have done it)

They wouldn't even need a script. Just give him a bottle of single malt, paint his face and follow him around with a camera for 24 hours.

Shoot, that's basically what the ended up doing with Nicholson...

Joker: "He stole my balloons! Bob. Gun."
*Bob hands him a gun*
*Joker shoots Bob*
Tim Burton: "Aaaand cut!"
Jack Nicholson: "Cut?! What, you were filming this ****? I was just messing around! Ha! You alright down there, Tracy?"

christain bale-eddie brock

Ehh.... well, he certainly has the rage.

Samuel L. Jackson as Albus Dumbledore

Okay, I just made that up, but it would be amazing and you all know it. :o

I can see it now:

I'm getting tired of all these muthaf**king Death Eaters in my muthaf**king school.

Russel's audition was comical and laughable at times (sounded like an 80's spoof scene in Space Balls tbh)... Ford was much more serious and nailed it. He wasn't short on humor in the movie as I think we all know.

Plus it Russell looked like he was acting. It didn't sound natural and you can tell that he wasn't into it like Harrison Ford was.

I love this pick! :woot:

Someone also mentioned Angela Bassett as Storm. She would've been perfect!

I'm really curious at how Clint Eastwood would've been as a Dark Knight Returns Batman. That would've been really good.

And Michael Jackson as the Riddler :o:cwink:
