How flippin' cool was that scene? I grinned like the Kool-Aid guy with that one.

Yeah, but it had a five-day opening. For a simple opening weekend, that´s low for such a hyped and expensive movie. But yeah, it´s the word-of-mouth that will make it or break it.Cinemaman said:BB had less than $50m opening weekend, but it had legs and made more than $200m.

Well, it already made 70m overseas, so the foreign markets may save its ass in the end.Sava said:nah, it shoud atleast be able to get 130mill with ok WOM, like F4

I blame Tom Cruise. This makes no sense to me. Hell, these mofos went on 106 & Park and had a huge special for the film. 106 & Park!!
$48 mill is a huge disappointment. It's nothing to be ashamed of, but for a 4,000 theatre blockbuster with such a massive appeal and rock solid reviews? It won't have legs cause this month is killer.

But I think MI3 might get around the 200 million mark worldwide at the end and kick ass on dvd. So in the end I think it will be successful just not as big of a success as people anticipated.

I know of a ton of people who are very anxious for the movie and haven't gotten a chance to see it yet or are waiting to see if people like it before shelling out nearly $10 for a ticket.
