I will agree that the kidnapping is overused. Seriously doubt to see Lizard doing any of it in the fourth. But...it makes sense for V-man to kidnap MJ in this one because of who he is. Ock never really wanted to kidnap MJ for reasons of personal conflict, it was just a convenience he had in order to accomplish his own goals (the tridium). And also this will add to the whole "this is why we can't be together" thing.

yeah, that scene will be a favorite scene of us fans for a long time. seeing that on film is a great experience. oh and fu machu , I need to find the plug to my scanner to scann the pictures from the book when I get the book. I will try and look for the plug and hopefully I will find it.

when each villian captures mj it's usually to lure spidey to right where the villian wants him. that is another reason why we need mj, the main reason is that mj is an important part of peters life and without her the films would feel half empty. if mj dies then it takes a good amount of what the movies are away. mj is not the main character though, but she is the second main character and we should be glad that she doesn't die.
