Something that has been bugging me lately is the fact that we have heard absolutely NOTHING I mean NOTHING on one of my favorite non-mutant characters Moira McTaggart since her casting in August (olivia Williams is playing her if anyone forgot.) So I decided to make a thread for everybodies fav Scot to get some info on her role in the movie, Muir Island, and anything on Olivia Williams. So any news?? share it!

Umm, Olivia Williams ruled in Rushmore!!!!

Moira!!!!

I wonder if they make mention of her and prof? Or just make her an scientist? Either way I like Williams' acting style.

Im really excited about her playing Moira!

she is very beautifull! she is going to have a small role i think

Moira is one of my favorite characters from the X-comics, and i've wanted her in the series for some time, but i never really thought it would happen for some reason. and now tha it's going to happen - i feel so happy.

it's like so many of Claremont's prime storylines and characters are coming into fruition on the screen - he's almost like the god of this franchise. i love it so!

bring on Moira! and i hope they mention or show Muir Island.

Olivia is pretty hot, and she has the perfect look for Moira. I'm unfamiliar with her acting tho.

As far as the character goes, I am also stoked that she is gonna be in it.

I'm guessing she won't have any connection to Xavier other than being a colleague tho. I don't think they will be former lovers or anything, and I hope not. That'd be weird with Stewart's and Williams' age difference, and I just think it's also unneeded to the story.

I suspect that Moira will be a scientist that Xavier knows, and he and Beast use her to discover the effects of the mutant cure. I'm hoping that she's on her mutant research facility on Muir Island. If there's no Muir Island, a part of the experience will be killed for me. Muir Island kicks ass.

Moira might also be used to help Xavier discover more about Jean's evolution as well.

Her presence is definatley one part of the movie I am looking forward to.

The age difference was always there, and even onscreen I doubt people will be grossed out.If anything it will give us more of a look into the Prof's history and character.

I'm hoping just for some subtle signs that they have known each other for a long time.Just as long as a rel'p of some kind is evident,I'll be happy.Let the fans figure it out for themselves.

I think it would be cool if they featured some Morlocks on the island as residents, just like in the comics. They wouldn't have to say they're Morlocks, maybe just show a bunch of hideous mutants in the different rooms. As they walk by,Moira can explain to the Prof or Hank how these mutants were found living in the sewers.BOOM,done.That would be pure awesomeness.

Now I'm just getting greedy, but maybe some mention of a Sean Cassidy could pop up somewhere. That would be the icing on the cake, but I'm not going to hold my breathe for it.

Ok, not to burst anyones bubble, but my fav scot is Sean Cassidy!

Gotta love the accents they gave Moira and Sean in the cartoon.Haha.

Mooooyra!!!!Shoooooooown!!!

What Kind of Town is Hollywood?

How dare you insult groundskeeper Willie with this thread title

I don't know who Nicolette Sheridan is. But the name is familiar.

And yes, Groundskeeper Willie. Everyone's really favorite Scot.
