Moon Knight

Alright, I know I am already doing the "Space Ghost" movie, but I happen to find Moon Knight to be VERY interesting. I love his origin. It's such a crazy one, and I love the whole "he has 3 personalities" thing.

MK would make a FANTASTIC film, so I'm going to write a treatment sometime....hopefully this weekend.

This is the thread where you can ask me questions about the story (I'll be posting an official sypnosis soon) and what's going to happen. Ask anything you want to.

Someone suggested Moon Knight as a tv show (sorry, cant remember who) which I think would be perfect. Even better than a movie..

Wasn't there talk of Moon Knight appearing in season 2 of Blade if it lasted?

I don't know how "official" that was; I know the name Marc Spector was dropped in the pilot but that's about it.

My preference is for the film to jump straight into the action, and leave the origin flashback for later. They can even base this on the current story arc.

Something like Moon Knight, you kinda have to. They could go along the lines of Blade; show us the established hero in action, then show how he got that way.

If I was going to do an MK film (which I REALLY REALLY want to) I WOULD jump straight into the action.

MK: The Movie would be like LOST, as in you see the origins eventually.



BTW, my treatment will be finished soon, and I'll have the sypnosis for you guys up probably Saturday night...so be on the lookout.

Hey guys, before I get any further into details on my Moon Knight film, I thought I'd let you know and see how I'd like the costume to be...

That's basically how I want the costume to look in the film, and I want it to be basically pure stone/rock. (moon rocks....ha!) t:

Anyways, i will have the sypnosis up ASAP this weekend.

How's about a quick rundown on what you have in mind, hmm?

Oh it's not gonna be very white. A little, not a lot.


Here's your rundown Chris...
-The movie will open with MK on the rooftops like in that pic, waiting for his criminal to come, whoever that may be
-Marc Spector will have flashbacks frequently throughout the film, mostly about everything that happened with Khonshu and his statue, Raoul Bushman and his final confrontation with him, taking on the aliases Steven Grant, Jake Lockley and Moon Knight, and maybe flashbacks about Jack Russell/Werewolf By Night
-I'm undecided on the villain at the moment (I'll know by tonight or tomorrow)...I originally wanted to use Bushman...but I don't think he would hold up as a main villain, maybe CrossFire or someone else
-Jean-Paul DuChamp/"Frenchie" will serve as a friend of Marc Spector of course, and he'll be a supporting character and Marlen Alraune will serve as the love interest of course

That's pretty much all I have for you right now, but I'm working on it currently and throughout the weekend....so stay tuned.

Hmmm-interesting. For the sake of Marc not coming off as a racist, perhaps he shouldn't refer to Jean Paul as "Frenchie". You seem to wanna keep him out of the "Alfred" capacity & that's probably a good idea too.

Maybe I'll write out "Frenchie" and just refer to him as Jean or maybe even Champ.

Well, there will be SOME white, but it won't be bright white.

The color I had in mind was sort of like THIS.


Maybe a more white cape.

Oh-if I could ask one thing; there's a line in the first issue of the new series, in which Moon Knight explains in his soliluquy the reason for the white costume: "I WANT them to see me coming". I'd like you to include that somehow, if you can work t in.

In my treatment, Marlene designs and makes his suit. Here's how a conversation between them could go when she presents him the suit...

Marlene: "Ta Da!"

Marc: "It's a little too....bright." (referring to the white)

Marlene: "Well you did say you wanted them to see you coming."

Or something like that.^

it's too bad that he was the Punisher because i think Thomas Jane would have been perfect as Spector. heck, he was even pretending to be someone else in the beginning of Punisher.
