Moon Knight

I haven't seen The Punisher film yet, but for MK, I'm looking for someone who can take on a very dark personality, and then switch it to very light.

Hmmm...

I'll try.

In my treatment, Marlene designs and makes his suit. Here's how a conversation between them could go when she presents him the suit...

Marlene: "Ta Da!"

Marc: "It's a little too....bright." (referring to the white)

Marlene: "Well you did say you wanted them to see you coming."

Or something like that.^
I like it. Again, you seem to be on the right track. I think I like the line b/c it separates him from Batman, who chose his color scheme for stealth.

Thanks CW!

Yes, he will most definetly be seperated from Batman in this film, not only because of the costume but because of origin, etc.

MK is much more of a....(how do I want to put this?!)....knight, than Batman.

BTW guys, William Cross/Crossfire will be featured in this film, most likely as tha main villain. I haven't TRULY decided yet.

Yes, I was thinking about the exact thing.

Maybe I'll write out "Frenchie" and just refer to him as Jean or maybe even Champ.
i think that would work fine:ninja:

I'm becoming intrigued by this, have you started writing a script yet?
It's okay, answered my own question, just saw your signature. Cool.

Thanks for stooping by Balian.

I really appreciate it.

The way I plan on marketing Moon Knightis as "Marvel's super powered Batman" but I can't do that too much, because as Peyton said it will confuse people and make them think that this IS Batman...which it is most definetly not.

One of the things about Moon Knight's color scheme is that he wants people to see him. To let them know that if he's after them, they see what's coming. Another scenario, that the current series has established, is that those he faces "can't hit the moon."

And I agree. C.A.H., you're on the right track.

Moon Knight has to be white:

- The white of the moon
- He's a man redeemed
- The ghost aspect, he's a man risen from the dead
- He believes he's working for a God

Can anyone post a really good picture of this character, I'm not too familiar with him.

Anything you say about Moon Knight, I'm agreeing with... your roleplays show how good you know the character.

There's a really great double page drawing of him in Moon Knight 5 by Finch.

Moon Knight first appeared in Werewolf by Night #32. In 1975. He was created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin.

I'll look forward to reading it, perhaps there could be a future collaboration between our characters.

Yeah. I could see a Moon Knight and Gambit meeting happening sooner or later.

Hey, Mr. C.A.H. :D

Who are you putting into your new movie as some villains?

There is something said about Marvel's 2nd tier characters. Because their origins are not well known, I think the interest increases for wanting to see them. Also, you're not expecting a HUGE budget F/X movie like Hulk or FF. Some people see the Hulk or FF as a reason just to go see effects or CGI. A good story developed works better. Think of Blade in '98. Before Wesley portrayed him, he wasn't a household name like Spider-Man or Wolverine, but with a little imagination, he spawned a decent trilogy. This same thing CAN happen with Moon Knight if done very carefully. The character definitely has mystique and a body of work to pull from.

OK folks, I'm sorry I haven't been on all day. It was a very busy day, and now I have a couple oh hours to talk.

First of all, KEVIN ROEGELE, MK will be white in this film. Just not AS white as he was in the comics. The style of the film I'm writing is dark, so therefore he has a "dark" white-ish, grey-ish colored suit. I also want the suit to be made of stone or something very hard, call them "moon rocks". HA!

Secondly,
Throwing discs
Various throwing darts
Crossbows
A truncheon
Nun-chuks
Cresent blades
Bolas
Battle axes
^Most of these I will try to throw into the film.

Thirdly, fantastic kid 33 asked "Hey, Mr. C.A.H.

Who are you putting into your new movie as some villains?"
WELL....you will soon know my friend. The synopsis will be posted shortly. I finally got my final story. I hope you all like it.

Lastly, Peyton is right. MK can be a great film and hopefully it will be. It has the potential. I am not planning a Moon Knight trilogy....YET....because I'm focusing strictly on the first film. I only want to make the point that MK is out there, and whether you notice him or not, he is a kick@ss character!

I believe someone also asked about casting, and NO...I have no one in my mind to play Moon Knight at the moment.

If you want an idea of how my MK film will play out, read the first 5 or so paragraphs on here...http://www.marvel.com/universe/Moon_Knight

I'll have the synopsis up in about 20 minutes. I hope you all like it. It's not much but it does give you the basic outline of the film.

OK ladies and gents, the moment you've been waiting for has arrived. I present the synopsis...

Moon Knight
"Marc Spector, former CIA member and mercenary, will never forget what happened to him years ago. The events that lead to him becoming a masked savior can only be described as mysterious. But now, as he recounts these events inside his troubled alter-egoed mind, he must deal with his ongoing relationship with the love of his life, Marlene Alraune, and the villains that challenge him. Between Jack Russell/Werewolf by Night, a deadly crime-fueled New Yorker named The Slasher, and his former CIA buddy William Cross, Marc Spector is ready for them. He is the Knight of Vengeance. He is the Moon Knight!

Now please be aware that it is only a rough synopsis, because somethings could change before the film is even made. (which won't be for a LOOOONG while)

But I hope you all like what you have just read anyways...
