Good, finally. I just hope that this has given enough time so we won't get hampered by delays on top of this wait.

After like six years of talking about, it's got a release date. This is right up Morrison's alley, I've always liked his multiverse stories from Animal Man to Superman Beyond.

-I'm not sure whether or not I'm disappointed that Captain Marvel will once again be a man stuck in the 1950's Leave it to Beaver world that Earth S/5 seems to be. I understand the meta overtones of such a setting since the character was literally left behind in the pre Silver Age 1950s. All-ages content is fine, as long as it is genuinely ALL ages, I just want the book to be good and move the needle on Captain Marvel. He's too rich a character to be revamped as a Captain Thunder or ignored all together.

-I wonder why Morrison isn't calling the Superman of Earth X/10 Overman anymore. Interesting and an interesting story idea too.

-The Super Sons is what I've been waiting on. That's going to be fun.

Now that he isn't really tackling a monthly anymore, I wonder if we'll soon get his Flash story about Barry Allen being constantly sped up and an anti-race with light that will lead to his death. Awesome concept.

Did you ever read what Moore had in mind for Captain Marvel in his Twilight story. I'm not sure if that would've been helpful or hurtful to the character as a whole.

It would have been him as the co-lead (at least apparently the co-lead) in a company-wide crossover written by a prime Alan Moore. It would have been an interesting and relevant take on a character with such a duality. I'd take that over Captain Marvel showing up every once in a while to drink malts and get his ass kicked by Black Adam.

Of course, he has a history of getting abused by writers. I remember Morrison saying he wanted the opening page of some event he'd been thinking about to depict Captain Marvel's funeral.

I'm personally looking forward to the Superman Secundus/ Damian Wayne Batman issue the most. Grant has had plans to do a Super Sons story since he was starting All Star Superman.

I doubt it, since it looks like Captain Carrot will be a main character, and if you go back through the back pages of all the Seven Soldiers, Final Crisis, etc. trades, Morrison always designs and colors his redesigns. It doesn't matter though, someone's being cheeky.
