I liked AVP Predators and also like most of the ones from Predators but my favorite is probably City Hunter

You really only need to see the first one. Predator 2 is underrated, but I wouldn't call it a great film really. Predators is pretty decent. But watch the first one, definitely.

Pretty much this, although there is some gap between the top three and the rest for me. P2 might not be highly regarded by many but I can enjoy it for what it is, even if some of the performances are OTT and I'm not a big fan of Glover, but I really like the idea of the Predator hunting his prey in an environment he's not used to.

Predator is the best but 1-3 can be enjoyed together. I love the franchise and I dig the Xenomorphs but I rooted for the Predator in both AvP films

Yeah Predators>Aliens for me. They at least have a code of honour and show respect to some humans who best their own.

A lot of people hated the Predator helping the main girl at the end of AvP but the respect stuff made sense to me and I could definetly see them doing that. The elders respect Danny Glover's character even after he killed one of them in their own ship

The best thing about Predator 2 is that it establishes Danny Glover as the true anti-Predator.

I might rate AvP:R even above Predators, just for the fun factor of seeing the Predator and Aliens duke it out. Predators is the better Movie, but it was hard to enjoy every single time I spotted a scene that was ripped straight out of the first Predator. Plus I didn't like the concept of the Super Predators.

Now I wish the Predator was in the main story. In Predator 2 there was this big war between criminals and he was taking them out. This game could have had him as a new City Hunter while all this realm stuff is going on and he gets teleported to Outworld where he's forced to fight other warriors

It made sense to me too, but then having read the comics from years back it had a similar story line in it and had a female human character who was befriended and worked alongside a Predator to survive an Alien infestation. She was "marked" in the same way too at the end of it too.

It's too bad the characters don't come with extra chapters. In Arkham Knight, the Harley DLC comes with additional story content, that serves as a prequel to the events of the main game. Would have been awesome to play some sort of special chapter, from the Predator's point of view.

And in one of those chapters,Johnny Cage delivers the"you're one ugly motherf..."line

Man, imagine a scene with the Predator mimicking the "Here's Johnny." line, shortly before he de-cloaks and stabs someone through the heart.

They are Predators. Even the small ones already break through walls. And Wolf was wrestling the Predalien. There's nothing the young bloods did, that either one of them couldn't do.

And asking for a "brawling" type doesn't mean that we need a Predator playing or looking like Bane.

Wolf wrestled The Predalien and was overmatched. The Young Bloods likely wouldn't have faired better but they're clearly bulkier and physically stronger, especially Celtic. He was the heaviest Predator on record (excluding the Super Predators) by 45 pounds. The next heaviest was City and he was 8 feet tall.

The extra layer of armor does play a factor too. Scar and Celtic were tanks by comparison.

No, but if fans are looking for a simplistic variation for brawling, then it's a lot easier to go with a Young Blood cuz they fit the bill.

I'd rather have a brawling type that uses a combination of writsblades, spear and power glove, than a roided Predator that just steam rolls the enemy.

My favorite Predator is the Elder Predator at the end of 2. Dark Horse have him an awesome short story.

Yeah, I feel the same. Guest characters are cool and all, but as far as the story goes, I want that world and its characters. Unless they want to make some kind of official crossover story, keep them as their own little fanservice thing.

Barring exceptions of a company buying a character and integrating into their franchise or something to that nature.

The first Predator is a million times better than the others put together. But Predator 2 & Predators aren't bad. If you're enough of a fan of both franchises and tolerant to crap you might enjoy the others too.

It sadly wasn't poor costuming work. It was intentional. I think Anderson even says that he wanted them to look more super hero-ish. That included the softer facial features, to make them less terrifying looking. I think he even referred to them as Hero Predators.

Good catch, I think I remember him saying that in the commentary somewhere. Still stinks and I don't like it!

I love the City Hunter design and Predators' design was solid too, but Jungle Hunter is still tops and the version they seem to be going for just on the teaser is the latter.
