Most Anticipated Games for 2008 (vote in your top 5)

Actually it is. I've played Melee for 7 years and the majority of the time I did alone.

That's a shame, because it is WAY more fun with friends. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE that game, and it is fun by itself. But Melee by yourself didn't match up to MGS3 by yourself.

Whatever. I tried Twin Snakes and got bored halfway into the first level. Brawl will win GotY though. Early reviews have indicated it's lived up to the hype and it has a much wider appeal than MGS4.

I don't have a top 5 but I can't wait for Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed in summer and I'm looking forward to Mario Kart Wii too!

There's really no point in arguing this if you got bored of a remake of one of the greatest games of all time. Brawl will be an EXCELLENT game, but its downright stupid to claim it'll be game of the year in frickin' Februrary.

Still, good for Nintendo if it does get it, seeing as its pretty much the only worthwhile Wii game for 2008, it might mean the console has nearly as good a year as the PS3 and 360.

I haven't been crazy about the games coming out this year. I doubt I get Ghostbusters. I played Lugi's Mansion and it wasn't too fun.

Actually I agree with you. I enjoy the MGS series, but they are not anywhere near my favorite games. Usually I play them then trade them in and don't think about them again. I am looking forward to MGS4, but it will probably suffer the same fate for me.

Brawl on the other hand, I bloody can't wait to get my hands on. It will own my life for probably the next couple years, if not more.
