After I watched the movie I thought he was still alive. I was almost sure of it (at least leaving it open for the possibility of a return). When I saw the script it sucked to read it, but I guess people are still debating it or what?Six versus Ten followed by Dent's fate when it clearly states he's dead in the script, and that one interview with Eckhart.
When the cop says to the Joker 'you killed six of my friends', in the interrogation room, and the Joker mouths back 'six' to mock him, some fools think he says 'ten'.![]()

It's pretty silly, but at the same time epic and unforgettable.
The identities of the 5 people dead Gordon mentions in the end of the film after Dent dying. After Dent dies they realize if the public finds out that he killed 5 people then Gotham would just go bonkers. Just who exactly that line refers to. "Five dead, two of them cops"i'm a little confused with the "5 dead, 2 of them cops" issue... can someone explain?

Wow, did I just use the word "bonkers"?
I think I did.
Are you guys talking about this 6 vs 10 thing?
Where Joker does this?

Yeah. Clearly he needs to grit his teeth to pronounce "ten" right? Am I right or am I right?
Who are the 5 ppl?
1. Commissioner Loeb
2. Judge Surrillo
3. Rachel Dawes
4. Wuertz
5. Maroni
????
So where's the confusion???yes.
More than 5 people died in the movie altogether. They were talking about the 5 people that Dent killed. They were standing over him and talking about what he had done. If they were referring to everyone who died in the film it'd be more like 24 dead, 12 of them cops or something (Loeb, Judge Surillo, Wuertz, Lau, Rachel, 2 cops in apartment, cops in the hospital, Maroni, the helicopter pilots during the chase, and so on and so on.) It's all referring to Dent in that scene. It's not Dent killing the 5 people, it's the 5 people that died that Gordon referred too, and the fact that Dent did kill people.
Just read the thread, or ask Nolan yourself, I'm not sure if they came to a conclusion yet.Who are the 5 ppl?

I agree with that, but it's without a doubt him gesturing/mouthing the word itself. I didn't question what he was actually mouthing when I saw the movie, and I haven't questioned it since hahaI don't think he actually said anything.
He just mouthed a gesture... the gesture being... "oops, you don't say." type of thing. Like a cocky gesture.
At least that's how I interpreted it.
