The poll is stupid, should have kept the other thread because there's obviously more films based on books than this.

I'd probably say Fight Club, as it's the best attempt at a fairly non conventional narrative I've see accurately translated to the screen. Arguments could be made that a few of those films(Like LOTR or Jaws or TKAMB) are more classic films or just "better" and despite my disagreements I'd argue that the process of adapting them would have been far easier as they are traditional narratives.
