What movies would you redo, make, or make a sequal to? What would it be like? Actors and actresses. What ever you want to post.

No more sequels, reboots or remakes!

By the way, there shouldn't be an apostrophe in the thread title.

sorry about that haha. This is not just remakes it's any movie you think should be made in the future.

If you don't want any movies in the future than don't post at all.

Personally IDK what I would like.
I saw that kid from never back down and thought he screamed tom cruise and could play him easily(top gun remake, MI between 1 and 2,

Most of all I want more original movies, although there are a lot of books out there that could be great movies. As for established franchises my biggest wish is that someone can do to Spider-Man/X-Men/Fantastic Four what Christopher Nolan did with Batman.

The DOOM PATROL! I want it and i want it now!!!

What I meant was, Hollywood should focus on making original movies and completely stop making remakes, sequels or reboots.

Remakes of bad movies. Not remakes of good movies. Remakes of movies with great concepts but horrible execution.

Terry Gilliam gets a job

WB does more DC work

Studios look to more obscure superheroes and nonsuperhero GN for material

No more sword and sandal movies. No more parodies. More westerns. More REAL scifi (not lasers and alien monsters but social commentary when scifi used to mean something)

...but i like lasers and alien Monsters! and besides " the Thing" had Alien Monsters and was a totally social commenatry about our distrust of others. Those don't necessarily have to be bad things if you do it right.Laser are cool.

I want a good Doc Savage movie.

It should have a basicly unknown cast as Doc and his crew....but some well recognized names and faces as the villian and the rest of the cast.

Doc needs to be a nice looking guy in his early 30's....well muscled but not an oversteroided wrestler type. The rest of his crew needs to be hired for their resemblence to the respective characters (but of course be decent actors). If they put Pat in the movie...they need a beautiful girl in her early 20's (she was 18 when she first appeared in the books).

It needs to be a good old slam bang action film with lots of tommyguns and fistfights. CGI should be used mainly for recreating the cities of the 30's.

I would consider The Thing REAL scifi. I dont mean to get rid of it all, just get the balance back.

Oh Okay i gotcha no "Mom and and Dad save the earth" sorta sci- fi ,Sci-Fi! Well in that case I agree with your real Sci- Fi statement.:cwink:

I will love to see The Goon on the big screen

and AVP, or in some cases like Doomsday and (but to a lesser extent) Children of Men, both seemed to have something to say but style seemed to overcome substance. I always thought Children of Men had a little too much action and just a tad too little social commentary

Halo

Terry Gilliam adapts Good Omens by Terry Prachett and Neil Gaiman like hes been trying to do for years.

My dream cast for the project:
Aziraphle- Paul Bettany
Crawley- Simon Pegg
Anathema Device- Kelly MacDonald
Newton Pulsifer- Elijah Wood or James MacAvoy
Witchhunter Shadwell- Bill Night
Agnes Nutter- Tracey Ullman
Haster- Rhys Ifans
