Hi, the thread is about what movies did you think get robbed and never got the nomination (for Oscar) you thought they deserved.

Expect TDK to be nominated in every category .
Including best song :hehe:

For me:

Edward Scissorhands: Both Original Score and Art Direction
Hook : Deserved a nomination for Original Score!
Batman Returns: Art Direction and Costume Design
Jurassic Park: Deserved nominations for Original Score, Editing and Art and Set Decoration
Interview with a Vampire: Deserved nomination for Supporting Actor Tom Cruise and Leading Actor: Brad Pitt
Godzilla: Deserved both Sound noms, and the Visual Effects one
King Kong (2005): Had to be nominated for Cinematography
The Dark knight: Where are the noms for Director, Writing and Best Picture?

Zodiac: Best Picture, Director, Adapted Screenplay, Cinematography, Supporting Actor (Ruffalo and Downey, Jr.).

The Wrestler: Best Picture, Director, Original Screenplay, Song (Springsteen).

The Dark Knight: Best Director.

There Will Be Blood: Best Score (disqualified...dammit).

Memento: Best Picture, Director, Actor, Cinematography.

Yeah, I'm one of the people that felt The Dark Knight should have been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Director and Best Writing (Original Screenplay). You're going to have to sue me.

****ing agreed about The Prestige. Both leads gave Oscar-worthy performances. The cinematography and direction were some of the best I've seen in a long time as well. I think the biggest snub of all though was for Best Screenplay. It was the best written film of the year, maybe even the decade.
