Revenge of the Sith used to be my least favorite Star Wars movie, but recently I rewatched them and actually found ROTS a lot better than I remember. It's not my personal favorite prequel, but I think it may be the best prequel on a technical/storytelling level, and maaaybe even better made than The Force Awakens (dodges flying vegetables).

Right?! It was so popular when it first came out, and I didn't like it one bit. I saw it again a year or so later for some reason, and liked it even less. Then for no apparent reason I put it on and really enjoyed it. Didn't see that coming!

Which is your favorite of the prequels?

True story; when my friend and I saw ROTS in theaters, my pal cried during the showdown on Mustafar between Anakin and Obi Wan.

I HATED Holy Motors when I first saw it.

Upon rewatch, I didn't really like it, but I didn't loath it.

Yes, I watched it for college.

    Adventures of Tintin.

It captures more of Herge's spirit than I first gave it credit for, though I still prefer the older films and tv shows.

One that comes to mind is Lord of Illusions. I didn't like it when I first saw it as a kid, but now I love it. Perhaps seeing the director's cut helped me make more sense of the film.

Sofia Coppola's "Marie Antoinette" (2006). Dialogue is atrocious, but if you get over that this is one truly beautiful movie (visually).

Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring (It bored the crap put of me the first time I saw, Then i watched the Extended cut and became a fan. I think its still the best one today.)

Batman Begins (I just hated the pace of the movie and how it sucked out everything that made the comics and Burton films so cool. I watched it again doh cuz I love the soundtrack and since then I accepted it for what it its and now its my second favorite Batman flick.)

Goodfellas (I saw Casino first and to me that was a masterpiece and this wasn't and its difficult not to compare the 2. I saw it a second time and thought it was better than I remembered but still no Casino.)

Mad Max (I still Think its the worst in the series but its grown on me more each time I catch it.)

The Exorcist (When I realized this movie is actually a misunderstood comedic Gem, I felt like an idiot for not realizing it the first time but in my defense, I was real young.)

I'd have to say The Phantom Menace is my favorite. I know that movie has a lot of technical problems, but I just find it fun and entertaining, aside from a couple boring parts. It feels a bit more small scale and simplistic than the other two, I think that's part of what saves it for me. Aside from that it used to be my favorite when I was a kid, and some of that nostalgia probably carried over.

The Star Wars Prequel Trilogy. It's still kinda boring in parts, but it does tell a single cohesive story, unlike those three pieces of trash Disney released.

Not a movie, but an actor. I used to dislike Christian Slater for some odd reason. Now I've changed my mind.
That award now goes to Jesse Eisenberg. Can't stand that dude.

Tron Legacy: hated it when I saw it in the cinemas as unlike the original it lacked any sense of joy.

Over time the stunning visuals, cool soundtrack, and religious themes made it more interesting and I kind of enjoy it.

King Arthur, Legend of the Sword. Yeah, Guy Ritchie really overdid it with fast cut storytelling on this one, and Arthur as a Londonium gangster, please ? Over time its grown on me, and I enjoyed Jude Law as the evil Vortigern.

I have never managed to sit through Lebowski or Raising Arizona, got bored after about 45 minutes. No country for Old Men was a ****ing chore.
    Love Miller's Crossing though.

Wow! Loved that one from day one. Saw it when I was 12 ( in 1982) swords, sorcery and boobs. Doesn't get any better for a 12 year old boy.

Tru dat. Another reason that 1982 is one of the greatest years in cinema history.

This happened to me with Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, I always thought the acting of the big three was pretty good but otherwise it was an overstuffed, over-the-top mess, over time I just grew to accept it and its style more.

    Star Wars.

I always thought the movies were boring and very long until I grew up to like it. Now I can see the depth of it better and every detail with amusement. I don't know why is that is like I had to become an adult to actually see it differently since a lot of people liked it since they were kids. I guess I had to grow up to understand its beauty. :)

Westerns in general. Hated them growing up. I ****ing love the genre except for John Wayne, that guy was awful in everything he was in even for his time.
