I just noticed that January means that MSJ has finished tweaking the GR movie!

I can only imagine what he has in store for us in February! I can't wait!

Calgary FX and animation house Satellite Studios - which does 3D modeling and character animation, camera tracking, compositing and digital matte painting - reports that it is finishing up work on Sony Pictures' Ghost Rider. The fantasy, based on a Marvel comic, stars Nicolas Cage as a stunt motorcyclist who sells his soul for supernatural powers to fight evil.

While Satellite isn't at liberty to divulge the nature of its participation on the FX-heavy project, Raelene Harder, partner in the shop with husband Trevor Harder, says that "the full array of our disciplines is in use," and that some of its work can be seen in the movie's trailer"

I just saw Sattelite's website and it looks like their the ones that polish scenes and that is another sign that this movie is on it's way to the big screen soon!

I just read an update on JC's next big movie, it's supposed to be some interplanetary love affair, it's supposed to be shot all in HD, and to be shown only on HD theatres (which there are few around the world right now). He's still writing the script and drawing the storyboards. Possible release - 2010.

I'm pretty sure that's correct. Tweeking takes place right up to the last minute. There's never enough time... though three years is nice! The wait has been hard but, I'm sure it's going to be worth it.
