MTG: Magic The Gathering

The new elves.

Man those are ugly. More like Satyrs and Trees had a sproutling.

I dunno, I really like them, aesthetically. According to the book for the set, these elves are the paris hiltons of the magic world. :whatever:

All the more reason for guys like this to kick their anorexic asses:

^That is some wicked artwork. :word:

I found my decks in my clothes drawer and pulled out all my other cards. I still have my Blue-Green Madness and Black-Discard decks in tact. My Elvish Succession deck was only missing one card (Verdant Succession, one of the cards it really needs). I proxied it for now but may buy one on eBay for $2 just to have it complete. I would get into it again but it's expensive to keep up with the new sets and expensive to build competitive decks in Type 1.

Thread Necromancy since I just started going through my cards again after not having them for almost a year.

Damn this is old. I just offered my rares and non-rare foils on Craigslist. The only cards I use are the ones in my decks.

I used to play this, but quit around Mercadian Masques.

I had an unbeatable deck. I played tons of people with this one deck, and never lost once. I was 32-0 with it, and beat some decks that people got fairly far into tournaments with

While other people played 60 card decks, I had a 160 card deck that was nothing but different types of counterspells and different types of Beebles and cheap unblockable creatures. What I would do is counter all spells my opponent would cast, except for a useless one to make my beebles unblockable. I would either win by making them have no more cards to draw, or slowly kill them with my beebles.

No one wanted to play me anymore with this broken deck, lol.

Used to play this when my local comic book store had had decks for sale.

Good times :o

That's about the time I started, actually

Considering the limit in tournaments is 60, I'm not surprised :whatever: :oldrazz:

Chyeah, seriously. I think my biggest non-tournament deck is like, 80.

I remember I had a 100-card deck that was just random stuff. Then I learned you have to build your deck around a strategy and the less cards the better.

Yeah, I had made the 80 card one to piss my brother off, cause he'd always play black and red, so I made blue and green, and would end up winning the fights 450/0 thanks to all the health I would get, and all the cards I could draw.

Oh snap. I remember playing this game for hours upon hours. I had like five Shivan Dragons. I just remember a Shivan Dragon being a bad ass card. And a Nightmare as well. And I remember selling all my cards for almost like one thousand dollars. I had a lot of rare stuff because I had played this game since it had first came out. :o

I did have it cut down to 60 toward the end of its reign...I had 4 bouncing beebles, 4 bubbling beebles, and the rest mana and counter spells. Still was unbeatable

Beebles were such wonderful creatures

Anyone ever played Freelancer?

I loved that sh**. Get online with it and start trading. Roll a fatty and put your feet up at your desk after setting your course. All Han Solo and sh**.

You punk! That's over the limit for normal cards :oldrazz: (other than basic lands, anyway)

If you're into card games and would like to see it go more esports like video games are right now, you might want to check this out.

I am not affiliated with the people doing this in any way by the way. Just want to spread the word about this. What they're trying to do looks really special I for one would like to see it succeed. The thought of an ESPN for card games sounds awesome.

I used to play Magic when I was a kid. Like 7 or 8. It's still pretty easy to play but I don't...especially since a deck from years ago will be rendered obsolete anyway. I don't have $$$ for that.
