Everyone can relax. It'll be a variation of the original mask, most likely dirtied up or more "realistic" -- "darker" and more "organic" are the words they used when describing it. Whatever. It's an update/reboot series. Not a remake.

Either way, I'm excited for this and I'll be watching.

I don't think she meant she's playing Drew Barrymore's character just that she is the opening kill like Drew Barrymore's character.

I'm assuming its a flashback scene maybe? Maybe her character ties into the killer of the series. Maybe its a secret relative? I dunno.

The replacement will probably be a young heartthrob sheriff since they said they're going in a different direction for the character.

That trailer was much better. But most likely this won't be good. It just looks... like an MTV show that passes itself off with Scream tropes and calls itself that.

It looks like Pretty Little Liars to me.
