MTV developing Scream series

Killer is a dude obviously.... So it's between Kieran, his cousin or creepy sheriff son.

I think its impossible for there to be any fewer than two killers. Everyone has an alibi at this point. That being said, there needs to be full reveals this season. We can't have another season of "who was the accomplice from last season?"

I think they'll reveal the killers and then have a cliffhanger reveal that Emma went crazy and killed someone thought to have been killed by the killers.

If so, we need another victim. So far there is no victim who is detached from the killer's actions:

- Jake was obviously killed by the killer as his body was used by the killer.

- Same with Branson and hotel manager.

- Big Boobs McGee was killed by someone she is intimate with so that rules Emma out.

There is a possibility. I wanna say the killer killed a random cop (but I could be mistaken). So that is really the only eligible victim. And Emma killing some red shirt cop would be a bit underwhelming. I feel like if they are going to have Emma kill someone, it should be someone who would matter.

I think it could be Kiernan and he's going to try to frame Emma for the murders.

Well, comparing the heights of Haley and the killer, there's only a handful of suspects left actually. Kieran and Gustavo match the physical build of the killer, so one of them is probably involved, though Gustavo is waaaay too obvious at this point.

The sheriff, the mayor and Emma's dad are also possibilities, but seem a bit old to have "a relationship" with Haley. The show has made a precedent with Branson and Brooke however, so I wouldn't be surprised if they did it again.

I haven't posted my top 3 suspects for a while since I was on vacation, but after episode 10 I'll do it again. Gotta admit the show is doing a damn good job with the killers identity this season.

True, but they need to be careful. They are doing TOO good of a job. If it is anyone (acting without a second killer) BUT Kieran, the plot makes no sense. Literally every other character has an alibi for at least one or more of the times that the killer has been active. Even Emma's dad was drunk in a bar when the killer was video taping Emma in the motel room and taunting Audrey. At this point, it either has to be either Kieran and/or two killers (in which case both of them need to be revealed, we don't need another season of "who's the accomplice?") in which case virtually every guess goes out the door, because it could be anyone.

AUDREY: "You broke my heart!"

*Emma stares at Audrey in stunned silence, idly wondering if a romantic plotline with Audrey would be more interesting than what she's been getting with Kieran*

:o

I know Noah is having a breakdown right now. First the asian chick from season one, now Zoe. He better just stick to white chicks. :mnm:

Solid episode. I was expecting the killer to pull a Joker, have the girls dig up Zoey and find a streaming video of Noah underneath only to have to watch him die.

I'm glad they didn't go that route as Noah is one of the few interesting characters on the show, but at the same time, his death would have really upped the stakes.

I gotta think that the killer is Kieran. Eli is too obvious. I think Eli is somehow tied to Brandon James (perhaps James is his father), explaining his presence at the tree, but I think he is being set up as more of a Cotton Weary type of red herring than an actual killer. I think the killer is Kieran with a possible outside chance of Gustavo being his accomplice. The question is: what is Kieran's motive?

Really digging this season.

But yeah, what the hell would Kieran's motive be? It'll be really dumb if he's Brandon James' kid or some ****.

Yeah, it would. I mean, really, James shouldn't have any other children. The show has gone out of its way to establish that he is a deformed, poor, mentally challenge, socially inept hermit. With all these kids around he is getting more action than most wealthy, charming, intelligent hunks! :funny:

I'd imagine Kieran's motive would be pure sociopathy, akin to Mickey from Scream 2 or Stu. I'm guessing the death of his mother and step-father is far less innocent than we know. He probably killed them intentionally. Piper, doing her due diligence on Lakewood's law enforcement caught wind of the sheriff's psychopathic son, and brought him into the fold.

Goddamnit, Zoey was my ultimate underdog for the killer's identity... :csad:

Top 3 suspects:
1. [BLACKOUT]Kieran. Sure, by now he's the obvious pick, seeing how he hasn't had a showdown with the killer yet and doesn't have any good alibi's, but the show doesn't state any straight out suspicious things he's done, like it does with Eli or Stave, which is what makes me suspect him more than the both of them. Perhaps he was Piper's boyfriend? Maybe that's why he went after Mrs. Lang? As a close friend of Piper, she would definitely figure it out. Though it's quite gruesome to think he would have dug up his girlfriend's body just to make a point.[/BLACKOUT]
2. [BLACKOUT]Eli's mom/Kieran's aunt. She's been absent for quite some time now. We still don't have a real background story for her, which is odd seeing we're 10 episodes in. And call me crazy, but I think the killer who attacked Noah had a sign of breasts... I can't come up with a solid motive for her though. Maybe she took Piper in when she was little? Maybe she knew Brandon? Oh God, Eli really is Brandon's son, isn't he? :whatever: It would make Piper her stepdaughter and Eli's halfsister. Or she could've been together with Brandon's brother, as I stated early on in the season... My head hurts...[/BLACKOUT]
3. [BLACKOUT]Emma's dad. During season 1 I suspected him to be the original killer from 20 years ago and with the flashbacks kicking in this episode, it's definitely put him back on the radar.[/BLACKOUT]

And hereby I officially cross [BLACKOUT]the sheriff[/BLACKOUT] off my suspect list. [BLACKOUT]We've seen the story waaaay too much from his perspective for him to be the killer.[/BLACKOUT] I like the character though, so I hope he makes it to season 3.

By the way, where the hell was Brooke? I stilly fully expect her to bite the dust this season.

Well, half of my theory was killed tonight. Still on the [blackout]Emma Fight Club[/blackout] train, though.

I've been digging this season a lot as well. This was a great episode. If it is Kieran I agree I'm not sure what his motives would be. I still think we have 2 killers. They're doing a good job though misleading me.

I still can't point my finger at anyone directly. I thought
Zoe was a bit suspicious but that is done now.
Lots of red herrings but I love it, I love the mystery.

Assuming it is Kieran, he is the only person who could, conceivably, be acting alone. But I agree it is unlikely.

Maybe his goal is to break Emma, psychologically. He's always had a fixation on her, from the beginning. Maybe he wants her to come to the dark side.

But how? We know she isn't hallucinating her encounters with the killer, or not all of them, seeing how Audrey was present for the last few calls/texts. It would be quite a shocker if it turns out she does have multiple personality disorder. But still, there needs to be another killer out there even if she's involved.

This season is melting my brain. I'm pretty much grasping at straws here.

That sounds really dumb.

I don't know what to think right now, which is why I like it.

I'm hoping it's Kieran as well. For one, to actually make him interesting, but also because I don't want the killer to be another outsider character. Piper was an outsider to the community last season. Kieran was new, but he's part of the core group now. I want the shock of one of their own being a killer, rather than someone who is a borderline stranger like his cousin.

Wasn't Keiran entirely absent from this episode?

Definitely suspect, but I just don't get the motive or how they'll explain Keiran's beef with Emma, or why he's played such a "long game". I have little doubt that one of the killers is connected to the core group, with a possible outsider as a second killer/accomplice.

Interesting that we found out that [BLACKOUT]Piper didn't kill Rachel. Maybe Kieran killed her for videotaping him at the bar. [/BLACKOUT]

I'm not entirely sold on Audrey's story.

Shouldnt they have announced season 3 by now?. Im worried that it wont be renewed :csad:.

Not really. MTV can be slow in renewing stuff.
