MTV "Watches the Watchmen"

Well, they go to the Vancouver set and speak to Patrick Wilson, Goode and Snyder mostly. You get a closer look at Veidt, and Goode talks about how he doesn't quite have the square jaw that Veidt has in the book, and how everyone else in the movie pretty much look their respective parts to a T.

Wilson talks a little bit about the greatness of the book, and how the filmmakers always try to go back to it for reference. He also mentions how human and real the characters are.

Snyder talks about "dark stuff" in superhero movies and how Watchmen is "really dark" in comparison. He mentions Studio 54 briefly...

Um, that's about it. It's a very short video.

Oh, thanks man. Much appreciated.

Anyone else starting to get sick of hearing "Who Watches the Watchmen?" as an introduction to things like this? This has to be the 100th time someone from a magazine or TV show said "Who Watches the Watchemn? We do" or some variation of before doing a peice on it.

Yes.

Nice video, but I don't think it's fair for Zack to keep referring to Watchmen as "his movie."

agreed volton. when he said that it KINDA sounded like he was saying those are his characters. "yeah well in MY movie they are actually dark. so **** you guys, dark knight sucked...stole my thunder...****." hehe, obviously i'm exaggerating his statements for comedic effect, but...you know what i mean =D

Yeah, I got that too, but obviously he doesn't mean it like that. He respects the hell out of Alan Moore.
