Here's the link of the debate that was on ATTACK OF THE SHOW. This is pretty much what "Iron Man" posted but there was no video, but now it's on so watch the vid. The part of the show is called THE LOOP.

Click on the link and on the right hand section there's a list under Recent Video and search the one that looks like this:
05/22/2006 - The Loop: Summer Movies, Hit or...

It's a pretty good video....Chris Gore totally defends and even gives some interesting info on Superman Returns.
So, here's the link....hope you don't get lost: http://www.g4tv.com/attackoftheshow/videos/index.html

Post a bloody description.

Grow up and watch it for yourself. This isn't your house, people aren't going to feed you and do things for you.

Its taking too long to buffer. So someone post a description NOW!

Who exactly is going to take anything from the guy from CHUD.com seriously? I mean really CHUD?

I'm not taking this debate too Seroiusly . I believe SUPERMAN RETURNS is going to be awesome .

All right here's the jist of it.....

They say the gaunlets been thrown....the huge deal this summer is going to be X3 versus......Superman Returns. Kevin, the host, reminds us that Singer bailed on X-Men to direct Superman....so he asks: are X-fan going to miss Singer?

Chis Gore pretty much says yes, that X3 clearly misses Singer. He says the film is good, but not as good as X2.....calling it the Return of the Jedi of the X-films. Namely because it's not a character driven movie...which leads to the Superman discussion.

Kevin asks if we'll get a decent Superman film out of the deal (from Singer leaving X3). Nick from Chud.com, pretty much says he doesn't think the film will be any good. He says Singer not a visionary....like Rami or Peter Jackson...and then he drops this semi-bomb that "advanced word is not so good".

Okay...so Chris Gore says he's spoken to 2 people who have seen the 2 hour and 51 min cut of the film. He says the film SHOULD come in at 2hrs and 15mins or 2hrs and 25mins.

They're telling him that SUPERMAN RETURNS the movie is absolutely amazing. That the scene where Superman needs to save a plane from crashing is one of the biggest scenes in the film and looks amazing and that the film is very character driven, we get insight into Superman as a character. We feel the weight of the world on his shoulders and that Singer is really a master at character development and character driven stories. Dude knows what he's talking about.

Well we all know Riami is by far better than Singer any day of the week anyways. Old stuff.

Hey, no one gives orders around here but me!!!!

Sorry, really it's not even for the discussion...but for the info Gore gives near the end of the video.

He knows 2 people who have seen the film....and that's pretty damn credible when he says about what they thought.

The other guy goes on to say that he's heard that Spacey and Bosworth drag down the movie. The host then says, "There's nothing you can do to help those two."

WTF? Yeah, Spacey's a bad actor and there's nothing you can do to help that. The guy in the middle just wanted to sound like a "highbrow geek" as he put it. It was hilarious that he actually labled himself. I think "poser" might be a more appropriate choice.

The guy in the middle is a ****ing I-D-I-O-T!!! The only reasonable guy was the blonde dude.

lol....yeah. Gore is a really cool dude. He's always on the money with the films he talks about.

Let me guess because the guy in the middle is saying bad things about SR right?

Kevin Spacey and Kate Bosworth are going to disappoint? WTF? For what i`ve seen of them they are amazing in their roles!! This dude almost made me close the video...

No only bad things...but he is saying things with no fundaments at all!

Did you watch the clip? The guys a *****e. "Indifferent"?

^ No unfortunately.:(
Well, he plays the "I'm too cool for school and I'm indifferent to everything" character. He then at one point says, and this made me actually laugh, that his pick of the summer was "A Scanner Darkly" because its what "highbrow geeks" want to see.

He just had poser written all over him.

Well, Spacey is playing a more comedic based villian in this film, kinda of a retro 70's character!!! The guy might be on to something!!!
