Well, that was...unexpected. This mutant had a one-off appearance in X-3. And now an entire movie? I don't know Multiple Man's background, but I can certainly say I didn't see that coming. Heinberg is a good get as a writer, though, so I wonder who will direct.

With news like this i don't see how the Disney "deal" would fit in if they are still working out new movies like this.

At some point you would think they would know when to say stop if they didn't plan on keeping.

Franco is already a Multiple Man in real life, so this isn’t that far removed.

Hopefully this will develop into an X-Factor thing, and James could be the Channing/Ryan who helps gets the ball rolling on that.

They are just running bussiness. Even when Disney bought/was about to buy Marvel Entertainment, that didn't stop Feige and his people to continue their work on Iron Man 2, Thor 1, Captain America: First Avenger and The Avengers.

Well given many seem to be thinking that if Disney get X-Men they will reboot it kinda makes you wonder why FOX would be still moving forward with any of these new ideas if they are making a deal that could put alot of these things into possible doubt.

Unless disney buying fox does very little and X-Men just carries on how it is.

exactly.if fox was closing down why keep making deal.

of course some will goan about it since Kinberg continues to be closest thing to overseer of x-men cinematic universe.

could this be precursor to x-factor like deadpool 1 and 2?possable but i don't know if x-factor is as iconic as x-force and i read both versions of it with original
x-men and x-factor as government team which included multiple man as member.

he certinly wouldn't be my pick for solo film but then again my unpopular oporion is only 4 characters could sustain film without a x team in film

The idea came out of another project that Kinberg is working on with James and Dave Franco which was a movie following the adult version of The Hardy Boys. Given that information, my hunch is that this Multiple Man movie will probably morph into or be based on X-Factor Investigations of some sort since Madrox was the leader and established that team in the comics. It's what makes the most sense.

James Franco tries very very very hard to be weird and avant-garde, and usually uses "artistic-queerness" to do so. I'm not Franco's biggest fan but Multiple Man has a lot of potential and would be a great role for an actor who wants to demonstrate their versatility. Expect questions about if having sex with a dupe is *********ion or incest with Franco attached.
