It's distinctive, but I'm not really digging it, largely based on what I thought it'd be. The harpsichord-sounding bit hints at something nice, but it's not sweeping or majestic enough. Composition is fine of its own. I guess I just envisioned something grander, evoking power and mysticism.
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe came to mind.Could you give an example of a movie score that evokes mysticism?
Just curious.
The 70s feel did come across as part of the distinction. I did like that.Lol, great throwback to the 70s, Hammond Organ included. I love it.
Also, this is the end credits. The main score will likely be different, but it does give us an indication on what the theme may be like.

^^
What part of "end credits" didn't you understand? This deliberately invokes the 70s. You know, the time when the comics were conceived. It's an homage. This is not what the main score will sound like. (At least, I'm willing to bet it isn't.)
Well, what a nice way to present Doctor Strange score, by releasing track that is not indicative of the soundtrack itself...![]()
Quite frankly... No.Keeps things interesting, don't you think?
Then we'll know if you could still do better music than that.![]()
