javon said:So if storm was sending lightning flying everywhere and she ON PURPOSE hit herself with that lightning, would it hurt? I trhink if she didn't want it to hurt her then it wouldn't.
javon said:Well SEBITA or HANDOFFATE (since they seem to be experts at physics and stuff), if storm was sending lightning flying everywhere and she ON PURPOSE hit herself with that lightning, would it hurt? I think if she didn't want it to hurt her then it wouldn't.
HandOfFate said:It shouldn't affect her at all. She channeled lightning through her body before.
javon said:^^Not really. She always does it.

javon said:^LOL!Anytime she uses lightning from her hands that when she channels it.
D-scythe said:I was under the impression that Storm created some type of electric potential in the air molecules around her, from which then an electrical discharge is sent from along an ionized path of air to her target (a path which starts from her hand).
toya thegr8 said:I felt, well actually still feel that that is what happens.
D-scythe said:Well, physically, it makes more sense to have Storm create an electric field of positive and negative particles around her rather than inside her. However, this would also mean that Storm would (theoretically) be vulnerable to electric attacks, although she'd probably be somewhat more resistent than others with comparable human physiology.
But if Marvel says Storm channels her lightning from her body, than I'm perfectly willing to accept that as canon. Even though it would make Storm immune to virtually all electric attacks, it's actually one of the more plausible explanations in the Marvel universe.
Intheknow101 said:She isn't immune to all electric attacks though, since she was able to be hurt by Beavatron's electric blasts. So I guess unless he generates it, then she can be hurt by it.
