....well, it's still a good Punisher film.

I don't think so, I thought that film was evil and I thought it had no redeeming value what so ever. So yeah, I vastly prefer the intellectual and ambitious to the so called "fun" and cartoonish" ones, because the examples of those films were stupid at best and repulsive at worst.

Anyway, it is a film that is not for everyone, and so, while I don't share your opinion, I respect it.
