After reviewing some fan complaints of the various deviations/ divergences of the Marvel films, I came up with an idea. There should be a film series (of various characters and groups, from the X-Men to Spider-Man) that agrees completely, 100% with the comics- absolutely no deviations, no artistic license, no alterations... no exceptions. All of the titles should have the 616 subtitle (e.g. X-Men: 616), to signify that the film is in the Marvel comics universe, and is completely in accordance with the comics. Some might not be fans of the idea, but has there ever been complete appreciation for any Marvel film? No. Let me illustrate my point further. The Rotten Tomatoes approval rating for X-Men Origins: Wolverine is 37%, while Iron-Man has 94%. Source deviation of the latter? None. Source deviation of the former? One word: Barakapool. IT IS TIME FOR THE PURIST VOICE TO BE HEARD!!!

You must not read Iron Man much so you're wrong about that.

There was a lot of deviation from the comics. The shift in time and setting, Stark's personality, Obidiah Stane being Tony's right hand man at Stark Industries. You did say completely based on the comics.

With that logic, Tony Stark would be in Vietnam in 60s constructing his Iron Man armor and would have the gold Iron Monger-like costume for a while before getting his own trademark suit.

You can't be %100 in accordance with the comics. There have to be at least subtle changes though basing films on one-shots are much easier. You're not gonna get that.

Oh, you poor, poor child. I'm so sorry you had to have this experience. Don't ever do that again. :nono: Do you hear me? Ever.
