wow,I've only seen the movies and in that context it just sounds absurd. unbelievable.

I like the book ending, I prefer the film ending though.

Clarice is much stronger in it, and the book ending is sort of anti-climactic with no real conflict at the end and Lecter escaping cleanly.

No more Hannibal Lecter for the love of God. The character's been done to death already and furthermore spoofed to death and we really don't need to see anymore.

I didn't care for the books ending. This is a woman who was insulted as hell when someone implied she commited petty theft in Silence of the Lambs yet she would become a cannibal? It is too out of character for the Clarice that Harris established from the beginning of Silence of the Lambs right up to the last three chapters of Hannibal.

i'd rather see a final confrontation between Will Graham and Lecter, with Clarice somewhat helping Lecter. Have Ed Norton return as Will too.

Clarice and Hannibal should have a baby and then eat it.
It makes as much sense as the ending of the book
