Transformers My Little Optimus Enactment from the Movie

Hey.

I've been doing stop motion for a bit and decided to recreate the scene where Optimus joins into battle and challenges megatron. Its only about 20 seconds long and thought i would share it with you guys. In case you're wondering what the original clip was, Its in the link posted right below mine.

Oh. If you guys ever have suggestions on which scenes to do, I can try them. Though I'm limited on toys and flying them around is tough. Plus other than Optimus, they don't move well.

well since i posted to this time, i'm finished filming the ratchet one. got too tired so the ending is extremely abrupt. Once i've done making the movie file, I'll let post it up. Will keep you guys informed

How do you do the stop motion? Do you film, move a piece, film and so on or photograph it?

Its usually easier to keep the film rolling and keep moving. But I use a digital still camera so its what you said.

I usually do 8 frames a second but thats for the proper films. For these, because i'm trying to get to the details, i'm filming at higher frames.

The Optimus one is at 14 frames. The ractchet one, i've started compiling it at 20 frames a second!! I have no idea how it will turn out!! if it looks bad, I'll switch it back to 15 frames a second.

100 frames compiled. Then i have to resize the entire video, upload it and then show it to you guys : )

The 2nd one was actually more technical than the first but the first one required consistent camera movements so yea .. that became harder
