My Name is Earl

Todd told me this is an amazing show, though I have never seen it myself.

Today's show had no other than Mike O malley! Feck yeah, GUTS!!

I love this show. It always makes me laugh. I hope it won't get canceled.

I'm glad the season ended the way it did. It seemed like the writers acknowledged that they strayed a lot from the formula that works this year and decided to get back on track.

Good season finale. The CSI David Caruso quip gag made me laugh out loud. I wonder how long Randy's new gal pal will be around for.

how was Ben Foster on the two episodes he did?

NBC has pulled the plug on My Name is Earl. The show's sidekick, Ethan Suplee, confirmed the news via Twitter. "Just got the call that My Name Is Earl has been canceled," he wrote. "They sure did take their time with that decision -- or rather informing us of it." An Earl insider says execs at 20th Century (the show's producer) are in discussions with Fox and ABC about picking up the four-year-old comedy.

Loved the first season. After that the show just went downhill. I gave up on it after the first few episodes of season 3.

Hopefully it'll somehow get one more season so earl can finish he list and so they can resolve that season finale cliffhanger they ended on.

Did the show get new writers in the 4th season? Cause man it sucked, and didn't even feel like the same show anymore.

It's (sadly) official..EARL is DONE :csad:

Ethan Suppley announced it today on his twitter account.

Now Jason Lee can make more Alvin & The Chipmunks movies.:D

show is great. Awesome cast and Jamie Pressley is just damn hot and sexy

will try to pick up the season box sets some time down the road

I loved the 1st season and the 2nd season was pretty good, but season 3 was terrible. 4th season was ok, but I'm not sure it ever recovered from season last season's problems as far as viewership goes.

I will miss Nadine Velazquez. :(

god I hope so, of all the shows cancelled this year, this is the one I might actually lose some sleep over

definitley needs to stick around a bit longer

Yeah, don't be too shocked now. CBS picked up Medium from NBC. That's now two shows that were axed from NBC 2 years in a row, only to go to another network. (Scrubs went to ABC last year). Fox makes or co-produces Earl fro NBC.

I think from now on, I will always hear Randy Hickey's voice when I think of Ethan Suplee.

TBS may give new 'Earl' segs a whirl

There may be life yet left in "My Name Is Earl."

Twentieth Century Fox TV is in talks with cabler TBS about a possible 13-episode pickup. TBS already carries "Earl" reruns.

The talks for new episodes are said to be in the very preliminary stages, and it's far from certain that a deal will be reached, insiders cautioned.

The laffer starring Jason Lee as a reformed petty thief was axed by NBC in May after four seasons on the Peacock. There was some chatter that the Fox network might pick up the project from its sibling studio.

"Earl" could be a fit with TBS' broad slate of original laffers, including "The Bill Engvall Show," "My Boys," "Meet the Browns" and "10 Items or Less."

Reps for 20th and TBS declined comment.

awesome. Now we'll hopefully get the cliffhanger resolved. Slightly offtopic, Bestbuy has the first 3 seasons for 12.99 each this week! I bought season 3 today(I already own the first 2)
