My Name is Earl

It's official: My Name Is Earl is done for good. It will not be moving to another channel.

Damn, the epic horrid season 3 ended up killing the show. It was rebounding from what saw last last season (not in ratings, but good eppys).

Whats gotten into me?! Shark adrenaline thats whats gotteninto me! And I love it!

That is karma. Greg Garcia punishes America with six years of Yes, Dear and as a result his semi-good show only lasts three and a half. I really wish that mid-season 3, NBC fired Garcia as show runner. The man can make a decent concept but as a writer he is terrible. Simply awful. He is solely responsible for the continuous decline of quality that was Earl. The cast worked their asses off with what they had, but Garcia and co's poor writing just couldn't be salvaged and as a result, viewers left. Who can blame them? Also, Mike O'Malley should've never been made a semi-regular as he too is just awful.

I have always felt the the big mistake was making Jason Lee a dumb hick. That show would have been much better if he had been a smarta**. Bankey, or Brodie, except PG of course.

Earl had a full season of 22 eppys including to imdb.com.

So its not moving to fox and it's ending on a damn cliffhanger?

That sucks!

Most of all tv sucks now. cause either the shows are crap or are getting cancelled.

Oh God... Yes, Dear was so formulaic that it actually makes me vomit.

:cmad:

Can't they just pay for one more episode that would wrap up the series and put it as an extra on the season 4 dvd? Please?:csad:

seen like 2 episodes of Yes, Dear....never was exposed to it that much, but its odd how some shows last just under the radar....'Less Than Perfect' was an under the radar show, lasted for a couple seasons

My god "Yes, Dear" is one horrible show. The girls aren't even anything to brag about (especially compared to other sitcoms). I'll be honest and say that I've seen a good handfull of episodes (about 20) maybe a little more and I'm not sure why as it bores the hell out of me.

At the very least, find a way to have Earl explain what happened next and how he finished the list. And put that on the DVD.

so why did you watch 20 odd episodes??

I thought I liked it at first, then I slowly realised how badly it sucked. I wasn't even really enjoying myself but I had nothing better to do those days and it was the only thing on.

sad that it took that many episodes to finally call it quits, but eh

Yeah, I'd even be excited by a 5 minute,"2 years later" clip or something.
