Opening was solid... then it regurgitated into the same old arguments. Not that that stuff is invalid. We need an article as to why Webb/AG are the right people, why they understand the material, and why they will make this thing work. But there is no body of work there to say one way or the other, so we really don't know. It's more of a cross your fingers and pray.

We crossed our fingers and prayed with Raimi/Tobey, and I guess Satan intercepted our prayers. No more praying, time to stop being fans of the directors and actors and start being fans of Spider-Man, as one here would claim to be. If they want respect from real fans, like Christopher Nolan and Peter Jackson...then deliver.
