The Amazing Spider-Man Marc Webb says that Exciting Spider-Man info is coming

Yah, it's in 3D, sure...but 1.) I won't be watching it in 3D and 2.) It having '3D' in the title is moronic.

Whats the problem with 3D? It's actually pretty cool now. No blue-n-red no paper glasses, it works now.

I doubt they're stupid enough to actually call it spiderman 3D.

They'll call it Spider-Man: Webs All Up in Yo Face.

I don't want it to be called Spider-Man 3D. If 3D becomes commonplace years from now, it's going to sound rather silly (it even does now). It's like having "Superman: the movie" or "Star Trek: the motion picture". Those subtitles just sound silly next to it, because you can tell it's a movie/ motion picture. You didn't see movies with titles like "Gone With the Wind: in technicolor" when there was the transition from black and white.

Never been a fan of 3D. It's just a way for someone to spend more money. I'm old fashion I suppose, as 2D is perfectly fine.

What? It's my prerogative if I say that I wouldn't want to waste some money on a film if Sony decides to give it a horrendous name :oldrazz:

I won't be seeing it in 3D because I have an eye condition that prevents me from seeing 3D, so at least I have a good excuse. :p

As for the title, yeah, Amazing Spider-Man would be great.

I won't be seeing this in 3D either lol!

As for the title, I truly hope it's not Spider-Man 3D, because that is just lame. I think they should name the movies of the new franchise The Amazing Spider-Man for example, the follow-up The Spectacular Spider-Man and so on! I find the idea of putting "3D" in a movie title just because it was shot in 3D, quite lazy and useless. But of course I for example, will see the movie, regardless of the title and such minor aspects!

I'm really excited for NY Comic-Con. I'm 85 % sure we will get lots of news then.
Keep this thread updated please!!!:D

I'm not so sure. It would be great if we had news, but, looking through the schedule, chances look pretty slim. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Damn, Sony is always stingy with their Spider-Man news.

Fun Fact Kids: They're filming the movie in 3D, using those special cameras. So odds are, you will see it in 3D anyways :o

The griping about 3D should not apply here, as this superhero is probably the only one that is begging to be in 3D. As a kid, seeing Spidey swing around the theatre would just be awesome for you. And I would not want to deprive the generation of it.
