My Tumbler progress

I don't want to sound like a killjoy here, but with the Batpod you might want to take into consideration how impractical it is as a working vehicle. Many TDK stuntmen have literally flipped while riding the thing. Just don't get yourself killed through your fan enthusiasm, okay?

You sir....are a god among men. You have no idea how amazing that is. Well....you probably actually do. But that's beside the point. You...wow.

W-O-W...

I agree with what Godzilla says, be careful!

You got to show us some vids of you driving it around town. I want to see people's reactions when you are gasing it up.

Really? I never heard of that happening on set, when did that happen?

Im pretty sure he's weighed the pros and cons of using and building something like this. He is a grown man. AND he does this for a living. Check out his homepage. Lots of goodies :)

Damn! I walk to my friends house wearing my Goon clown mask, but thats nothing compared to you driving up the street in THAT. I get a couple looks at me here and there, but you'd get CNN crawling up your ass every angle you look at it.

wow, thanks all for the great compliments.

Here is a shot that allways gives me a jolt everytime I look at it, because it reminds me of where this all started. Right in this old two-car garage. Had to shave the beard. it itches.

Bob C. and I each work indepently out of our homes on these cars. For each of us, a big dream come true. We do it from shear determination, lack of sleep, thinking out of the box constantly. not easy. It feels like climbing Mt. Everest half way up, you start to wounder if this wasn't a big mistake. Then you realize that you are too far to quit. In fact, quitting is now not an option. Because if you do quit, you will have set a precedence about yourself, and all up to this point will become a huge disaster.
You get a little farther, now you look down and view is breathtaking. So on an emotional level this car is giving back to you, what you gave to it. It makes you start to think that, If you can do this, then you can make anything happen if you really want to. It revitalizes faith in yourself. This is not supposed to be possible. Not at this social/economic level.

You look like Ra's al Ghul. Not making fun of you though. But still, those are some pretty big wheels.

Sweet dude.. but you still havent mention what engine will you be using..

I will only be impressed if you get a working bat-pod working! get to it now! just kidding =P

official winner of most badass person on the internet/in the world ever. god i want a tumbler so bad.

Wow, it's official...Batman fans are crazy. You don't see anyone making Spidey's spinnerets or Cyclops' optic googles. Or do they? :whatever:

I kid, that's the most bad@ss car since 'Back to the future'. Just remember...build the Batpod WITHIN the Tumbler! :woot:

EDIT: Don't forget to build 2 Batpods within the Tumbler...you'll need one for the poster that's begging to ride shotgun.

Batman is about a crazy guy who fights other crazy people. Naturally the fans are a little WOOOoOOOOooo! :brucebat::hehe:

I'm impressed and jealous all at once! How much did it cost?

I believe it's in one of those "Making of" sort of videos you can find on Youtube somewhere.

Okay, my suggestion would be to enter your Tumbler in the next 4th of July parade, or any parade type deal. I guarentee you will be getting the biggest pop from the crowd.

yea man that is great work. what sort of power we looking at here though? you puttting a big lump in it?

Yeah, as crazy as it is...damn good job, a true example of a Batman fanatic...you should be so proud. Its cool to see a dream come true, especially one that you worked so hard on. I remember reading about the stuntmen getting thrown off the batpod, it really is an impractical vehicle...even in the movie, it only existed to allow Batman to continue the chase. I don't doubt you could replicate the Batpod, but I would love to see how your able to get it to come out of the Tumbler....gotta stay true to the movie. :p Good job though
