What Freddy says is right though, do you not remember the scene of Superman flying down from the clouds into the ocean using his heat vision to melt the floor so he could go under the sea-bed? This is so he can get some earth between him and NK. Why else would he go under the ocean floor? If he was just gonna pick up the island he wouldnt have had to go under the sea-bed.

Plane Rescue, hands down.

The CGI was extraordinarily well done throughout the entire movie; I really enjoyed the visual aspects of the film in every sense.

to be honest the first time i watched teh movie i was nto 100% sure what he did to be safe. but fact is that i knew that when he was lifting NK it was not NK falling down.

As far as the thread goes, there are so many great moments for me it is hard to choose just one, the plane sequence, flying away from Lois' house with the Jor-El voice over scene and him floating in space listening to whole world, bullet-to-the-eye scene, the "You worte that the world doesnt need a saviour......" scene, the metropolis save montage, the NK beating, the lifting of NK and the subsequent unconscious descent from space, also Superman's speech to Jason.

There are also lots of little moments that i love, Clark's face outside the planet when Lois is basically asking him why he thinks Superman left without saying goodbye, the scen with Perry, Lois, Jimmy and Clark, in Perry's office, Clark's first meeting with Jason and then Richard, when Clark's glasses fall off ands Lois hand them to him without looking at him, the look he gives Kitty through her rear window in the car, and my favourite little moment, when Superman finally says "Bye" to Lois when leaving the sea plane because he thinks he may not come back.

BUT, i have to say the scene that has me in complete awe and gives me goosebumps everytime is the scene were Superman flys above the clouds into the sunlight to re-charge. The music, the direction, the angles, the effects, the acting were all perfect in that scene IMO.

BUT, i have to say the scene that has me in complete awe and gives me goosebumps everytime is the scene were Superman flys above the clouds into the sunlight to re-charge. The music, the direction, the angles, the effects, the acting were all perfect in that scene IMO.

I have to agree. Most of it had to do with the fact the characters were established already and you can take things further from there.
