Saw it at 11, had read the books since about 7/8 and loved them, this obviously was nothing like the novels and wanted to 'tap in' into the time travel 'boom' that had come with BTTF, and tried to balance the 'feel' of the novels with a 20th Century 'fish out of water' plot and for the most it succeeded on a very small budget and downscale casting, but nobody can tell me it's not a 'wonderful' film experience. I know it's shoddy, poorly shot and some woeful acting but for me it still works.

Whilst not universally hated, but in the year of M J Fox's world launch, Teen Wolf comes off very much off the pace of BTTF, but I love Teen Wolf and this sequence gives me chills like I'm 10 again.....

Guns of the Magnificent Seven: the worst of the series, but I like how each cowboy has a "superpower" of some sort, even though it totally violates the premise of the Magnificent Seven/Seven Samurai theme

Dune (David Lynch): completely incoherent and absolute rubbish, but some cool artistic elements and I'm a fan of the book
