"Nature Vs. Nurture" [Season Finale] Discussion Thread

Synopsis:

VENOM – On Thanksgiving, Aunt May Parker is released from the hospital, but Venom has no intention of letting May and Peter Parker enjoy a family celebration. Knowing all Spider-Man's secrets- even some Pete isn't consciously aware of- Venom threatens to destroy Pete and everyone he loves most. Will Pete embrace his destiny in time to defeat this new arch-nemesis?

I can't wait for this episode! It's going to kick ass and it's going to be great seeing my favortie Villian (Venom) in a Spidey animated series again.

Overall, I think the Spectacular Spider-Man is my favorite Spider-Man animated series to date. There is not one aspect I don't like, everything has been so awesome that I am glad that I have been able to follow the series since episode 1. Greg Weisman and crew have really brought us an excellent show.

But like I said before, if there is one arc that I've been anticipating the most, it's the Venom arc. And personally, I think it's been a blast so far. And I can't wait to see Nature vs. Nurture. Because Venom is my all-time favorite villain, and it's always a joy for me to see him show up. So I can't wait for the synopsis/trailer, and most of all, the actual episode!

Watching promo a few times venom/eddie voice sounds cool, venom/eddie says "We", the spider symbol does wrap around(sweet a little happy there), and the whole missing teeth thing on venom doesnt seem odd in motion(maybe those pics looked odd since it was stills).

Not liking the design too much. I loved that still that was released a couple days ago, because he looked like he had normal proportions. But now I see the giant torso and short legs are back.

Wow, I didn't like that preview at all It just seems so.... generic. I don't know. I didn't figure they'd be fighting in broad daylight on some rooftops. Could've been more epic, this beeing the season finale and all. But I've been wrong before though, judging an episode on the preview alone ("Catalysts")

Well the preview was just "eye-candy" for the fans. I have no reason, at this point, to doubt the magnitude and prominence of the storytelling of this episode yet. The writing has good to this point. I suspect nothing will change for the season ender.

It's so hard to believe we are already on the finale..seems like we just started. It's been a great ride none the less.

I like how they used the bits of Venom from the movie, in terms of the symbiote still gripping Eddies face. I always liked that. And to me his voice sounded alot cooler and different from the old S:TAS.

As sad as it is to say. Bring on the Finale.t:
