NBA2k7 Vs NBA live 07

Well both these games are out Septmeber 25, whicn one you your getting? I have NBA 2k6 and that was a great game especially in HD! But im going to wait for the reveiws for both games and get the game that has better reviews but I had to pick one right now its defintely NBA 2k7!

I had a quick question, since the last NBA game I owned was NBA Live 2004 - do any of the current or upcoming games allow you to create a team? The feature has been in the NHL and NFL games for a while, but I still haven't been able to find out about the NBA games. Thanks.

When you play online NBA2k6, you can play a fantasy game in which is like a draft where there's 12 rounds and you can pick whoever you want thats available. Not sure if you can do it offline because I've never bother playing offline

I've seen video clips 2K7 on ign and I must say it looks ****ing sick! Im Selling my NBA 2k6 if anyone intersted

Well IGN just finished a review of NBA2k7 and they have it a 8.3 which is improved from last NBA 2k6 of 7.8

Here's the closing statement: NBA 2K7 is a very impressive basketball title. The critically acclaimed gameplay has been improved, especially the defensive AI, yet other areas like defense still need some work. This game is as deep as sports games go, offering not only a great franchise mode but a wealth of options you may never even see. There are so many options that the game is great for hardcore simulation fans and arcade streetball fans alike. If you like basketball, you can't help but enjoy NBA 2K7. Moving forward, 2K needs to make player faces look like human beings, improve some suspect clock AI on the part of the CPU, and work on making on-the-ball defense fun. Still, this is a damn good basketball game and your best option on the 360 this season.

Well, the 2K series is the better selling of the two, so that should say a little somthing. I buy the 2K game every yr and i rent the EA game every yr, and for the last 5 yrs, its been the same outcome, 2K makes a MUCH better game. Saying which one looks better is an opinion statement, therefore you cant win that argument.

The avg review for 2k6 was 7.9, Live was 6.9.(out of 24 reviews, source: ign.com)

Again read the reviews for both games and not just critics but from real fans too! They will tell you that 2k is more realistic!!! The plays, gameplay its as real as you get while Live is more aracdish! I mean last year they had 3pt bug which was you always make a 3pt regardless of anyone that was guarding you! You could have been triple teamed and you will still made that 3pt shot! How is that realistic! if you cant see from your own eyez that 2k7 is more realistic and overall the better game than you go outside and pick up a baskteball for the first time in your life and you will see 2k7 will own!!!

In all honestly tho, this forum is prob the LAST place anyone should go to get info on a SPORTS title. Id say about 80% of this forum has never touched a basketball in their lives. I mean, iv started many a sports threads and they go NOWHERE. You said yourself you dont know anything about these games, or care, so why bother posting in this thread???? The 2K series has been the better selling of the two titles for the last couple of yrs, so i think that says a little somthing.
