and ironically enough both of them have detachable hairpieces

wow I thought they would have at least dragged out the whole Liz spying on Tom for a few more episodes.

Yeah, that promo looks like it should be for the season finale.

Damn great episode, I really wanted to believe Tom at the end when he told Liz he is one of the good guys :(

That ending :wow:

I just knew Tom would
break free and kick Liz ass. You don't take your eyes off someone as skilled as him for a minute

I think Tom perhaps works for a counter good guy version of the shadowy organisation that is threatened Reddington.

I'm not sure why Tom murder Jolene if she was on his side or why his 'fake' brother would jump out of a window if he is working for the good guys.

When Tom told Liz that he felt sorry for her: COLD!!!

Obviously, he could still be playing her but Tom wasn't as bad/malicious as I thought he would be. I wonder what he could possibly have on Red that would have Liz raging like that. Maybe Red is not Liz' father and he's somewhat responsible for her real parents' death?

I get the feeling that the guy in the preview for the next episode is Liz's biological father.,as for the evidence that's in the locker I'm going to assume its a photo of Red suffocating Liz's adopted father during his visit to the hospital.

Anyone get a feeling that they might pull an Alias on us, and we find out that Tom and who ever he works for are the good guys?

They should have dedicated an episode entirely 2 Liz kicking Toms ass in that small room

The big scene between Liz and Tom was excellent, both played it so well and it not only worked on an emotional level but left me intrigued as well. I thought the manner in which Tom bolted when he realized he was made was also neatly done.

Megan Boone has been so good since Liz found out, the way her emotion brims under the surface as she tries to remain professional, it's great to see a female character written this way instead of being a neurotic and overwrought mess or cold and closed off, Liz feels real.

I also loved Red's clever use of the Serbian extraction team. :D

I felt the same, and the fact Red didn't go rushing in when Tom escaped made it seem like he knew Tom wouldn't have harmed Liz.

That line was so harsh, no wonder she cracked his thumb! :funny: It was doubly cold as I actually thought he was going to reveal that he had actually fallen for her.

I think Red has potentially always ripe to go either way even if it would alter the shows structure if he were revealed as anout and out bad guy.

Good call as Tom was at the hospital at the time wasn't he?

I forgot they had a dog and aparently so did they.

What makes me think that Red might be a out and out bad guy is it is more of a challenging role for Spader (I like to think of it as him getting prepared for his role as Ultron)

Tom arrives at the hospital late and asks the nurse for what room Sam is in, which the nurse replies that Sam has passed away already, however Alan Alda character made it clear that everyone of Reds movements have been tracked so perhaps they have proof of him suffocating Sam[/quote]

Maybe the dog is a recent addition 2 replace their non baby

The dog was in the first few episodes. It was even in Liz and Tom's first scene. I remember that because I've been thinking about how they quickly ignored the cute dog after just a few episodes.

Something Ive noticed that I find interesting, in episode 8 when Liz walks into the room Red calls her Molly, and in Monday nights episode he calls her Lilly (I thought perhaps Lizzy but he definitely calls her Lilly), probably nothing but still interesting.

They better not do an Alias on this show and make the CIA FBI the bad guys and not really the FBI at all. That will seem like such a rip off.

Shows creator give an interesting insight into Tom

Interesting, I wonder if Tom had arrived earlier though and only had that interaction with the nurse to establish the idea that he had arrived after the death.

well the synopsis for episode 21, kinda confirms this now

Berlin (S1, Ep21)

Liz refuses to work with Red after discovering the truth about the death of her father. Seeking to make amends and force Liz to see him, Red brings the FBI a case they can't ignore. Meanwhile, Liz reveals what she knows about Tom's secret life to the FBI.

So this new blacklister is basically bizarro Red

weak episode this week, I was expecting more from the villain of the week, only seemed to pick up towards the end of the episode.
