Near Apocalypse of 2009.

The Near Apocalyse of 09 was mentioned in JLU and in Batman Beyond. I believe it is high time for Bruce Timm give us the untold story. It would solve the unanswered questions behind Lex Luther's disappearance with Darkseid.

My idea for it would be a five part DTV.

Part one.
Ra al Ghul and the League of Shadows forms an alliance with Val Savage and his (Nazi) organization in search for the anti-life equation. Batman, Robin, Green Arrow and company must assist Gotham and entire Western world based on the the Contagion, Legacy, and Cataclysm story lines.

Part two.
A new war between New Gods and War World threatens Earth Superman, Green Lantern, and Martian Manhunter Leads a strike team.

Part three.
Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Hawkgirl assist Warlord from the villain from JLU's terror below.

Part four.
The Big Ten along Adam Strange, the Question, Static Shock solve the mystery behind Luthor's, Darkseid, and Brainic disappearance.

Part five.
The League saves the universe from the unknown threat........Starbreaker.

I really want them to make this, there's no reason they can't do it as one of the DTVs I don't even mind if the designs look different just let it be the Timmverse characters. I think it has to be something epic, I'd like it if the main villain in at all was Suneater and he made some sort if pact with Ra's Al Ghul and Vandal Savage.

It's never gonna be done as a five part DTV, most we could hope for a 6 part mini series on CN (which is possible after all they they're (kind of) bringing Teen Titans back) or a DTV that's just one film.

Anything that beats having one DTV. The mini series would do this story justice and rally fans for the return of the DCAU.

How? I mean something so big and epic can't be condensed to one DTV. Plus I am surprise that this topic hasn't been talked about. Frankly, I would rather see this than live action Justice League movie.

Well, YOUR idea of what it should be would be big and complicated and would require several DTV's. What THEY actually do however could easily be just a 70 minute story. They aren't adapting anything, they're making it up as they go. So the story only has to be as long as they need it to be.

Agreed 70 minutes is more than enough, if its anymore it would seem like they're dragging it out.

I hope if they ever do it, costumes are updated like Batman could have the mark 1 version of the Beyond Suit and Superman has a suit similar to his Kingdom Come suit.

Yeah but we'll never get 90 I'm pretty sure if they animated anymore than 70 mi uses they lose money.

But we know in the DCAU that he upgraded to the Beyond suit. In the Dark Knight Returns he only wore the armour to fight Superman.
