Oh and I loved the batman conversation between Rogen and Efron.
Exactly. It is like the opening 10-15mins are the foundation the rest of the film is built on. When Rogen and Byrne's characters discuss how they are going to info their new neighbors that they need to "keep it down" and then how it actually plays out. It is almost cringe worthy, but it really is necessary imo.Just got back and really enjoyed this one. Rose Byrne was definitely on equal comedic footing with the funniest players in this, but then I've always thought she was one of the funnier elements of the comedies she's done. I agree it starts off a little rocky, but I also agree with Darth that looking back, it feels kinda intentional. That awkwardness and discomfort almost needed to be established first, lol.

That scene is great, and his impression is definitely a highlight.
I feel like Dave Franco's Meet The Parents-era DeNiro impression is, like, 90% of why I want to see this movie.
That critic was completely inappropriate and wrong. She took an easy and misguided shot at something she clearly has an axe to grind over.http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/seth-rogen-slams-film-critic-707117
That critic... she needs to be out of work.
On an aside, how adorable is the baby in this film? When she almost wakes up in her crib and then goes back to sleep, my entire theater went "ah". So cute.
Rose and Chloe? Well, they can have all my money now.http://www.comingsoon.net/movies/news/464769-chloe-moretz-in-talks-to-join-neighbors-2
Sequel is on its way with Chloe Moretz joining the gang.
It was the same with my niece. The fear is real. When my wife and I watched this movie, having a 16 month old now, we both laughed hysterically because we still do that when our daughter moves and we're not ready for her to be up yet.
