Neighbors starring Zac Efron and Seth Rogen

Wasn't expecting them to make a sequel but it's not surprising considering the enormous profit that was made. Nevertheless, I'm happy that Chloe Moretz is joining the cast and all I hope for is a follow up that's as funny as the first...not a Ted 2 repeat.

Another comedy that really does not need a sequel. Should've quit while they ahead.

Just saying, did you guys really like the sequels to Ted and The Hangover? Rest my case.

It depends on how everyone who returns is utilized.

Ted 2 merely swapped out Mila Kunis for Amanda Seyfried.

The Hangover 2 merely swapped out Las Vegas for Bangkok.

Horrible Bosses 2 merely swapped out Jennifer Aniston and Kevin Spacey for Christoph Waltz and Chris Pine (Aniston and Spacey may have been in the second one, but they had virtually no importance to the plot so there'd have been no difference if they weren't in it).

Neighbors 2 is bringing back Efron (and probably the other frat guys), making them good guys with Rogen and Byrne, and adding Chloe Moretz and others to the mix as well.

Neighbors was already a bit of an uneven movie. There should not be a sequel. Just another unnecessary comedy sequel that should not happen.

Now we have two washed up former Disney stars. Whoopie!

At least she's hot...

I think both of you guys are being silly.

First: I liked Neighbors. Not as much as This is the End or Rogen's earlier work but I liked it. But the movie made over $250 mill on a $18 production budget. Whether you thought it was "uneven" or whatever or if you think a sequel is a good idea from a story perspective (I dont). It's not that silly that they would make a sequel nor should anyone be surprised.

Second: Neither Gomez or Efron are washed up. I dont know what made you think that. Efron did have that bomb last week, but he's good.
